Title: L&P DFE - HotFix 18.2 for v5.2

IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is a cumulative hotfix contains all previously distributed hot fixes:
- hotfix 01.0 – PDF Fails to create (Uniprint)
- HF4.2 – Std White support for IN100
- HF06.0 – Std White support for IN150
- HF08.0 – Unregistered inks in normalized PDFs (Amberley – UK)
- HF09.0 – Support for Mac OS Sierra
- HF10.0 – Finishing marks smart names knocking out background
- HF13.0 – New CEP 13.5 build 19 – resolves CMS db corruption.
- HF15.0 – Fonts error bypass (additional checkbox in configuration utility)
- HF16.0 – Support for classic PPML (APJ request to stay with classic Designer workflow)
- HF17.0 – Accumulative hot fix - Magenta1 ink order – enable setting ink order in job ticket.
- HF18.0 – Accumulative hot fix - PPML support – introduced new issue with 8000 connectivity and text overprint support
- HF18.1 – Accumulative hot fix – replaces HF18.0, solves text overprint support

HF18.2 includes fix for:


Accumulative hot fix of all hot fixes installed since the distribution of v5.2.
Resolves:
- Text overprint – rip issue (Geostick)
- Restore archives ‘ready to rip’ status (Digital Labels, Dion Label, Eshuise)
- 8000 connectivity found in HF18.0 Alpha (Testing Center)

Limitation: HF17.0 does not support the use of STD White ink.

Prerequisite:
 v5.2_IR7.2
 Uninstall all previously installed hot fixes since v5.2 – script provided
 HF02.0 and HF03.0 remain untouched as installed with v5.2IR7.2

Next version: V5.2.1


Installation instructions for HF18.0 (in the following order)
IMPORTANT:
 If HF1.0, HF4.2, HF6.0, HF8.0, HF9.0, HF10.0, 13.0, HF15.0, HF16.0, HF17.0, HF18.0 or HF18.1 are
installed, uninstall all mentioned above hot fixes.
 Stop Print Controller before proceeding with hotfix installation
 On the Server:
 Run script HotFix_Uninstall_All.bat (Script - removes all previously installed hot fixes)
 run HF_182_DFEhp5.2_IR7_CltShare_20170721.exe
 run HF_182_DFEhp5.2_IR7_Srv_20170721.exe
 run HF_182_DFEhp5.2_IR7_Srvoem_20170721.exe
 run colorenginepilot_v130\setup.exe
 On each client (PC and Mac):
 Connect to the client installer share on the server and reinstall the client

Uninstallation of HF18.2: (In the same order as below)


 Stop Print Controller before proceeding with hotfix uninstallation

 On the Server:
 run C:\Esko\bg_prog_dfecltshare_v013\hotfixes\uninstall_hotfix_182.exe
 run C:\Esko\bg_prog_dfeserver_v013\hotfixes\uninstall_hotfix_182.exe
 run C:\Esko\bg_prog_dfeserveroem_v013\hotfixes\uninstall_hotfix_182.exe

 Uninstall the CEP 13.5 kit from Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and
Features\ Esko Color Engine Pilot 13.5
 Go to <DVD-DFE5.2_alpha7.2_19-Jul-2016> Run the setup.exe
 In the HTML installation page > Click Update the Color Engine Pilot 13.5 software
 Reboot the server
 Go to the same HTML installation page from DVD > Click Install the patches
o Install only the Color Engine pilot 13.5 Hot fixes (CEP-5963 and DFEHP-
5493)Uninstall the whole CEP kit after which you reinstall the previous CEP kit

 On each Client:
 Re-install the client from the appropriate subfolder(Windows or Mac) on the client installer
share
