1 . Formatting is the process of preparing a data storage device such as a hard disk drive,
floppy disk or USB flash drive for initial use while Partitioning is the common term for the
second part of the process, making the data storage device visible to an operating system.

i RAM open the slots then gently set it in the correct place press down firmly but carefully on
top of the RAM stick near the ends until it clicks into place close. Everything up and turn your
power supply back on.
ii.Hardrive you back up the data and create recovery disc, remove the old drive and place the
new reinstall the operating system and the programs files as well.

iii.Processor CPU Ensure that your CPU is compatible with your motherboard, secure the new
processor gently place your processor down where old one use to be and apply thermal paste and
finally reinstall the heatsink.
iv Graphic card l will Check for Basic Compatibility of the graphic card and Install the
New Card.

  First Open Case Remove the back screws and mount motherboard screw motherboard standoffs
into the case and mount processor and install CPU and CPU cooler as well then you install
power supply furthermore mount memory which is RAM and install graphic card and finally
mount storage drivers.

Step 1. using a bootable USB flash drive or DVD you choose the OS’ language, time and
currency format, and input method.
Step 2. you click to install windows 10 and you can also choose to repair your computer.
Step 3. You put the product key to activate the windows.
Step 4. Accepting the license terms.
Step 5. choose type of installation if it is upgrading or custom installation.
Step 6 you select the drive to install Windows 10 on and you can format a drive here as well.
Step 7 here you wait for windows files to be loaded.
Step 8 then you specify the owner and set the password.
