NT Trainer of
the year

“The teachers at CDU were amazing!

They were very passionate and
knowledgeable and worked hard to meet
both the learning and personal needs
of students. Their care and individual
attention meant that students like me
received additional one-on-one training
when I missed classes due to family or
work commitments. The facilities were
great too, and accessible outside of
lessons if required.”

Fees
Q0 What fees do I need to pay?
Fees vary according to whether you are a Territorian, from
interstate or an international student. Fees can also differ
depending on the course you choose to study.

Q0 What are VET Student

Loans?
VET Student Loans use part of the Higher Education Loan
Program (HELP) that aims to remove financial barriers to study.

The VET Student Loans program offers greater protection for

students and focuses on courses that address industry needs,
creating better opportunities for employment. VET Student
Loans offers income contingent loan support to eligible students
studying diploma level and above vocational education and
training qualifications.

Q0 Am I fee-exempt?
You may be exempt from tuition fees for various reasons,
including being a secondary school student, in receipt of
Centrelink benefit or living in a remote location.

If your course is delivered in a location that is listed on the NT

Government’s location categories for VET funded programs with
remote location category, you may be eligible for a Remote Area
2 tuition exemption.

Check to see if you are fee-exempt when you enrol. These

exemptions only apply to NT Government subsidised places and
not full fee courses.

Note: Students who have their full course content delivered

externally are not eligible for the Remote Area 2 tuition fee
exemption. The exemption will only apply to the units that are
delivered in the remote location.

International student fees differ from domestic fees, and

international students are generally not eligible for NT
Government subsidised places.
