Amul has a vast distribution channel that covers almost all parts of our country.

AMUL has 7,64,954 Producer Members, 47 depots, above 5000 distributors, and over 10 lakh
retailers in the country.
Amul has entered the foreign market such as UAE, USA, Bangladesh, Australia, China,
Singapore, Hongkong, etc.
Amul follows the methodology of breaking the bulk. The initial factory output is in bulk.
This bulk becomes smaller and smaller, which finally reaches as a single unit to the
consumer.
There are two different distribution channels for Amul.
i. Procurement channel
Farmers deliver milk to the cooperatives. Then cooperatives collect all this milk
and send the bulk to the manufacturing facility.
ii. Distribution channel
It is for distributing the finalized product to the consumers.

It supplies considerable amounts to its C&F, which have the right arrangements to store
Amul products in bulk. This C&F then transfers the products to distributors, who give them
to retailers. Also, Amul has a direct sale team which sells to modern retail. Besides this, the
company has exclusive Amul stores that isell all products of the Amul brand.
