Human cloning debut, Why do it? Who’d be hurt? Should it be legal?

This article is written by Peter Kendall from Chicago Tribune and explores some of the issues
involving cloning especially human cloning and its benefits and fears.

Cloning can be helpful with lots of benefits. It is used for bone marrow transplant. For example,
people have already had children because that one child who needed a bone marrow
transplant and needed a donor to do that, it would just be case where, when we are going to
do that, it would just be sure to have a match. In the article, author of the new book “The
Perfect Baby” many of the ethical issues raised by cloning already are being comforted by
people concerned about the existing potential for genetic engineering in human reproduction.
For example, soon some predict, parents will be able to choose many of their baby’s traits short
or tall, cautious or risk taking, we are going from a period of time where people had babies to
where people make babies. As there are fear in cloning, because of cloning people would have
same ideas and views by which news idea cannot be form because of similar people.

This article deals with benefits and fear of cloning. I feel this is the clear border line for the
scientific areas and research should be drawn. This process could be Pandora’s box by which we
can produce same other people like us. However it has some benefits and fear too. Cloning can
make same people like us which would be easy for us to match our ideas and feeling with them.
But because of cloning people would have same ideas and views due to which new ideas
cannot be created. Also cloning affect the society because of similar thinking.
