Chapter 1: covers introduction, it gives background information to the study or research topic
and identifies the problem statement. It also covers the object of the study as well as the
scope of the study in which the study is guided and detailed to its relevance. This means it
protect the researcher to stay on track and always focused on the project topic. It brings
about the research questions and hypothesis of the research topic. Basically, it gives a
preview and brief run on what issues to be covered in the rest of the proposal in their order.

Chapter 2: this is the chapter that covers the literature review in the reader provides pathway
of what issues to be discussed by discussing all the past studies that pertains to the issue at
hand. it details out the theories and principles or experiments and case studies that will aid
and bring forth the research topic to a more focused and detailed environment that enables
all ideas, concepts or theories to be flawless. It provide historical overview, summaries
studies and research gaps and also identifies the study’s contribution to the world of science
in terms of engineering and pinpoint the research gaps that one can easily carry on from.

Chapter 3: discuss the methods/methodology and materials used for the case of the study.
The is the main section where the researcher is fully put all his/her ideas and hypothesis to
test in the form of experiments. The approached methods for the experiments are carefully
and virtually accounted for by investigation and testing results. This can be labour extensive
work.

Chapter 4: this resonates or restates the main focus of the research topics and identifies the
recommendations that can be made as well as the questions that are not answered.
