**GENERAL WARNING**
How to use your blender safely:
1. There are rotating blades on the bottom of the
blender lid. These blades cut up the items in the
blender cup during the blending process. Do not
touch the blades at all when adding the
ingredients and blending. When cleaning residue
from the blender lid, scrub the blades with a thick
sponge to keep them far away from your fingers.
Make sure to unplug the blender after use.
2. To avoid electrocution, make sure your hands are
dry when plugging and unplugging the blender.
Don’t let water or other liquids touch the plug.
3. Children under 13 should only use the blender
under adult supervision.

RECIPE EXAMPLES:
How to make Jack’s signature protein smoothie:
Ingredients:
• About 2 cups of frozen fruit of choice (i.e. banana,
strawberries, raspberries, blackberries,
blueberries)
• 3 tablespoons of peanut butter (or any nut butter)
• 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
• Optional to add a tablespoon of protein powder
• If fresh fruit, add ice

Part 1: Adding your ingredients

1. Fill the blender cup halfway
full with frozen fruit of your
choice.
D-Tail Writing Company

2. Add peanut butter to the cup.

Hold the mouth of the spoon
over the cup and tap the handle
of the spoon on the rim of the
cup to force the peanut butter
off the spoon and into the cup
(can do without nut butter).

3. Pour cold milk into the blender

cup until the liquid level reaches
the ‘fill line’ at the top of the
cup.

Part 2: Blending
1. Plug the blender base into a
wall.
D-Tail Writing Company

2. Screw the blender lid onto the

mouth of the cup until it’s very
tight. To make sure that no liquid
will leak during the blending
process, try turning the cup
upside down. If no liquid comes
out, the blender lid is screwed
tight enough.

3. Turn the blender cup upside

down and place it on the blender
base, with the blender lid and
blender base touching. Rotate
the cup until it clicks into the
blender base.

4. Press down on the blender cup.

This begins the blending
process.
D-Tail Writing Company

5. Continue to press the blender cup into the

blender base for 10-15
seconds. The less liquid and the
more solid ingredients inside
the cup, the longer it will need
to be blended.

6. After 10-15 seconds, release

the pressure on the blender
cup.

7. Remove the blender cup from

the blender base and turn the
cup right side-up.

8. Unscrew the blender lid from

the blender cup.

9. Inspect the contents of the blender cup. If you

still see chunks inside, repeat steps 3-8 until the
chunks have disappeared.

10.Once no chunks remain, screw

the cup lid tightly onto the mouth
of the blender cup.

11. Enjoy your smoothie. (Can take

on the go)

7. To dry the blender cup, scrub the inside of the cup

and/or, follow these instructions.
1. Pour a teaspoon of dish soap onto a sponge.
2. Scrub the inside of the blender cup with the
sponge until the sponge has picked up all the

3. Scrub the blade-side of the blender lid with the
sponge until the sponge has picked up all the
residue. Be careful not to touch the blades with
your bare hands!
4. To clean the sponge, squeeze it over the sink and
run it under water for 5-10 seconds.
