- Inspect goods to check the compliance to relevant standards or requirements. Product
compliance are checked physically as preshipment inspection is mandatory to most of the G.C.C
countries before the certification is released. As a part of the program I have also performed
surveillance inspection to check compliance of products that are registered with the SGS Network.
- Create checklists to mark compliance and discrepancies to the relevant standard to which the
inspection is performed.
- Collect samples for testing/ analysis (meter reading) as per appropriate sampling plan. Report
any discrepancy found during the physical verification.
- Conduct cargo integrity check, witness and seal FCL containers if required by the contract.
Photograph inspection stages as required or specific instructions. Provide physical inspection
result.
- Prepare a complete and professional inspection report including all matters relevant to Valuation,
Coordinating Center (VC/ CC), Processing Unit (PU) as well as non-conformance with country
regulations/ provided documentations and transmit the same to office on the day of inspection or
latest the next morning.
