MENTE ARGENTINA SCHOLARSHIPS

Mente recognizes that for many students, scholarships are a important and even a necessity in order to
study abroad. Keeping this in mind, year after year, Mente Argentina has offered various scholarships for
our programs in Buenos Aires. The Mente Argentina Scholarship Program is designed for motivated students
who plan to study abroad, however, feel that they need assistance to cover the costs of travel and the
program fees.

Universidad de Buenos Aires offers scholarships for Italian, Mexican and Chinese students that enrolled in
their postgraduate programs.
UBACYT SCHOLARSHIPS
Universidad de Buenos Aires calls for a scholarship for the award of Research Scholarships for students of
degree programs of this university and scholarships for master’s, Doctorate and Doctorate Culmination for

Boren Scholarships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide unique funding

SPANISH STUDIES ABROAD SCHOLARSHIPS

Spanish Studies Abroad has awarded over $230,000 USD in scholarships since 2001. They offer two scholarship
options for students attending their regular academic programs in Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Argentina.
You may submit an application to only one scholarship: Merit-Based or Diversity.

UNIVERSIDAD AUSTRAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The vision of Universidad Austral includes both supporting all students with talent and enthusiasm to study
undergraduate careers, so that no one who wishes to be deprived of doing so due to economic difficulties,
as well as rewarding those who have demonstrated an high academic commitment during high school.

UNIVERSIDAD DE BELGRANO
Universidad de Belgrano grants economic support to the undergraduate students who need it, in order
to fulfill their academic objectives. The benefited students must develop institutional cooperation tasks in

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF QUILMES SCHOLARSHIPS

The National University of Quilmes (UNQ) grants scholarships to take graduate and postgraduate courses
of study, both in-person and on-line. In addition to institutional scholarships, the UNQ is also part of
Scholarship Programs promoted by different organizations.
SPANISH AND CULTURE IMMERSION PROGRAM 2020

The Super Intensive Spanish course is designed for students who want to learn Spanish language in as
short a time as possible. This course is recommended for serious students who want to make the most of
their time abroad to achieve a good language level in Spanish.This Spanish partial scholarship program was
created in 2005, thanks to an alliance of several educational organization that decided to subsidize part of it.

SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN AUSTRALIA
MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in
recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the university’s
student population.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of countries other than Australia and New Zealand and
are not a permanent resident of Australia; Applicants must have received an unconditional offer for an
undergraduate course and must have achieved excellent final year school results.
• AWARD: The University awards around 30 scholarships with a $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first
year of an undergraduate degree and around 10 scholarships with a 100% tuition fee remission for
the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree. Students who have accepted a $10,000 fee
remission scholarship will also be considered for a 100% fee remission scholarship.

ADELAIDE SCHOLARSHIPS INTERNATIONAL (ASI)
The University of Adelaide offers Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high quality overseas
postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research
efforts.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to international (excluding Australian/New Zealand citizens

and Australian Permanent Residents) students who have successfully completed at least the
equivalent of an Australian First Class Honors degree. Generally applicants who succeed in winning an
ASI scholarship have completed a master’s degree including a significant research component and have
several publications and relevant work and research experience.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded course tuition fees for two years for a master’s degree by
research and three years for a doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs
only); an annual living allowance ($28,092 in 2020) for two years for a master’s degree by research

Australia Awards Scholarships are long term development awards administered by the Department of
Foreign Affairs and Trade. They aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner
countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.

FLINDERS UNIVERSITY: AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT RESEARCH

TRAINING PROGRAM (AGRTP) SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNATIONAL)
The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarships (International) are specifically
intended to support international students to undertake a research higher degree at Flinders University.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded tuition fees charged by Flinders University for a research higher
degree, as well as a living allowance paid at the rate of $28,092 (2020 rate).

MACQUARIE VICE-CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship provides a partial tuition fee scholarship
for outstanding students to study at Macquarie University North Ryde campus.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded up to $10,000 AUD and it will be applied towards their tuition fee.

LA TROBE COLLEGE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
The La Trobe College Excellence Scholarship (CES) is a scholarship available to international students to cover
tuition fees for high-achieving international students accepted into their undergraduate and postgraduate
coursework programs.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand who
are applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in 2020.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded between 15%, 20% and 25% deduction on annual tuition fees for
the duration of their studies and are limited in number.
MONASH INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The Monash University Scholarship program offers over 200 scholarships for new and current students.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who meet the following requirements: Applicants
must be an international student; commencing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework)
degree at a Monash campus in Australia (you must have received a full Monash course offer); must not
be the recipient of any other scholarships, grants or financial incentives funded by Monash University

AUSTRALIA RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM (RTP) SCHOLARSHIPS

The RTP provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both
domestic and overseas students undertaking research doctorate and research master’s degrees, known as
higher degrees by research (HDRs).
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to domestic or overseas students enrolled in an accredited HDR
course of study at an Australian HEP. Applications for RTP Scholarships need to be made directly to

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded up to $43,110 AUD depending on the program and financial need.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIP (GRIFFITH

UNIVERSITY)
International Student Academic Merit Scholarship rewards high achieving international students applying for
undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs at Griffith University.
• ELIGIBILITY: You have to be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, have a minimum
GPA in previous studies of 5.0 to 5.49 on a 7 point scale or equivalent, satisfy all academic and English
language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program,
and be a full-time student starting in either Trimester 3 2020, or Trimester 1, 2 or 3 2021.
• AWARD: 20% of tuition fees for the entire degree.

UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIC SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is funded by the University of Sydney and provides tuition fees offset and stipend to high
quality international postgraduate students who wish to enrol in or are currently enrolled in a research
degree here.
• ELIGIBILITY: The receipient must be be a commencing or enrolled international student who has an
outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential and have an unconditional offer of
admission or be currently enrolled in a master’s by research or PhD at the University of Sydney.
• AWARD: For 2020 awards, the scholarship is valued at $35,000 per annum. The scholarship assists with
OSHC, tuition fees and living costs.

Canada
SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CANADA
HUMBER INTERNATINAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

This entrance scholarship is available for Graduate Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma students
joining Humber in January 2021.
• ELIGIBILITY: Students with a high academic qualification (students with GPA 85%+ and 6.5+ IELTS (or
equivalent in TOEFL, Duolingo, senior high school grade in English)) looking to be rewarded for their
performance in the senior year of high school, college or university. A total of 10 undergraduate and 10
graduate eligible new international students will be awarded a CAD 2,000 scholarship. Scholarships will
be awarded on the first come, first served basis for students that received their Letter of Acceptance
and confirmed their offer before September 15th 2020. Eligible students must pay their tuition fees in
full and scholarship amount will be credited to the student account after the 10th day of classes. The
scholarship will be disbursed in two installments over the 1st two semesters.

YORK UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA INTERNATIONAL MAJOR

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS (IMES)
IMES is a merit based scholarship for students who are offered admission at the University of British Columbia.
Students must be on a study permit and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA GRADUATE FELLOWHIPS

The Government of Manitoba has provided funds to ensure that Manitoba’s best students continue education
at home, to foster research that leads to economic growth and to attract excellent students to study in Manitoba.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students with a minimum GPA of 3.75 (above B+) in each of the
last two years of study at a recognized university based on a bachelor’s, master’s graduate diploma or a

• AWARD: PhD winners are awarded $18,000 CAD per year while master’s winners are awarded $14,000
CAD per year.
CHINA SCHOLARSHIP COUNCIL (UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA)

Established in 2014, the “China Scholarship Council – University of Manitoba Joint Funding Program” is a
collaborative program of the University of Manitoba and the China Scholarship Council that funds study at
UM for PhD students from China.
• ELIGIBILITY: Before applying, candidates must meet the minimum Ph.D. admission requirements as set
by the University of Manitoba and obtain an unconditional admission letter from the Faculty of Graduate

• AWARD: The university will provide support towards the tuition fee and international differential fee for
up to 48 months under the condition that the scholarships from the China Scholarship Council (CSC)
have been secured. The CSC will provide scholarship support covering visa application fees, one round-
trip airfare between China and Winnipeg by the most economical rout, food and accommodation, and
health insurance expenses.

This three-year leadership program is designed to train Engaged Leaders, equipping outstanding doctoral
candidates with the skills to translate their ideas into action, for the betterment of their communities, Canada,
and the world. Up to 16 doctoral Scholars are selected each year and receive generous funding for their
studies in addition to leadership training in the context of Brave Spaces.

WATERLOO INTERNATIONAL MASTER’S AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

The University of Waterloo is offering the International Master’s Award of Excellence (IMAE) to international
students who wish to undertake Master’s degree programs that are research-based.
• ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be International students with a valid Canadian study permit who are
registered full time and assessed international tuition fees. The scholarship will normally be awarded to
Master’s degree students in research-based programs (thesis or major research paper). Only students
entering the first term of their program are eligible.
• AWARD: The scholarship award is valued at $2,500 CAD per term for a maximum of 5 terms.
• DEADLINE: Students will be automatically considered for this award based on their application for
admission; hence no separate scholarship application is required. The application deadline for most
Master’s programs commencing September 2021 fall within January to February 2021. See the official

VARNIER CANADA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship, launched by the government of Canada, is designed to help well qualified doctoral students
pursue their studies in renowned Canadian institutions.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to Canadian citizens, permanent citizens of Canda and foreign
citizens. Applicants will be considered on three equally weighted selection criteria: academic excellence,
research potential and leadership.

INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR CANADIAN STUDIES:

GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
The ICCS offers 6 scholarships annually to young international scholars to spend 4-6 weeks at a Canadian
University for research in the field of Canadian studies.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students in the social sciences or humanities field who are
preparing for a graduate thesis or dissertation on Canada.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded up to $4,000 CAD for all expenses.

CANADA-CHINA SCHOLARS’ EXCHANGE PROGRAM (CCSEP)

Established in 1973, the CCSEP was the result of an undertaking by then Chinese premier Zhou Enlai and
Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. The CCSEP is an official exchange program between the two
countries designed to enhance Chinese scholars’ and professionals’ knowledge and understanding of Canada.
Scholarships are usually for four to 12 month periods of research in Canada, but do not involve formal
enrolment at a Canadian university. The recipients are placed as visiting scholars.
• ELIGIBILITY: Canada offers awards to full-time, permanent teaching or research staff, master’s or
doctoral graduates as well as non-academics in China holding senior professional posts (e.g., judges,
broadcasters, economists) so that upon their return home they can make a distinctive contribution to
life in China and to mutual understanding between Canada and China.
• AWARD: The China Scholarship Council provides a round-trip international travel fee and visa application
fee. The Canadian side provides scholarship living expenses ($2,200 CAD per month) and medical
insurance expenses during the study in Canada.

WINNIPEG PRESIDENT’S SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WORLD LEADERS

The University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is awarded to international students
entering any of the University’s divisions for the first time. Applicants must have a minimum 80% admission
average or equivalent and must be involved in activities that demonstrate leadership.
• ELIGIBILITY: Candidates must have a minimum 80% admission average or equivalent. They need to be
an international student who is entering the first year of any program. Candidates have to demonstrate
exceptional leadership qualities.
• AWARD: $5,000 CAD.

ENTRANCE AWARDS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
(CARLETON UNIVERSITY)
Carleton University awards scholarships tenable at the University, in the Fall/Winter session of the year of
offer to entrance and in-course full-time undergraduate students who have demonstrated a high potential
for university studies. The intention of the scholarship policy is to recognize, attract and provide incentives
for excellence.
• ELIGIBILITY: Students will be considered automatically for several scholarships when they are admitted
to the Carleton University. It can vary depending on the scholarship.
UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY INTERNATIONAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

The University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship is a prestigious award that recognizes outstanding
accomplishments of an international student beginning their undergraduate studies at the University in the
Fall term. The criteria for the Scholarship includes not only academic excellence but also accomplishments
outside the classroom.
• ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be international students who are registered full-time in an undergraduate
degree program that commences in the Fall term. They have to be new students. To be considered for
a scholarship, a student must normally present a minimum GPA of 3.20. They must also have satisfied
the university’s English Language Proficiency requirement.
• AWARD: The scholarship is $15,000 CAD, renewable annually in the second, third and fourth year at
the University of Calgary, provided recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00
units in the previous fall and winter terms. The total amount over 4 years of undergraduate program is
$60,000 CAD.
• DEADLINE: The application deadline for Fall 2021 admission is 15 December 2020 (early admission) and
1 March 2021 (standard admission). The application deadline for the International Entrance Scholarship
is 1 December 2020.
UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY GRADUATE AWARDS

This scholarship, launched by the government of Canada, is designed to help well qualified doctoral students
pursue their studies in renowned Canadian institutions.

FINCAD WOMEN IN FINANCE SCHOLARSHIP

FINCAD established FINCAD’s Women in Finance scholarship to support oustanding women in the field of
finance, especially in the field of derivates and financial risk management. It is also designed to give women
the opportunity to cultivate and share their skills.

graduate-level program.

SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CHINA
MOFCOM SCHOLARSHIP
MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China to further
strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries, as well as to develop
talents for developing countries. Starting from 2015, MOFCOM Scholarship mainly sponsors the young and
the middle-aged talents from recipient countries to pursue their postgraduate degree education in China
and entrusts China Scholarship Council to administer the Scholarship.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students meeting the following requirements: be a citizen of
a developing country other than the People’s Republic of China, and under the age of 45 (born after
September 1, 1974); Be healthy physically and mentally with a physical examination report issued by a
local public hospital, and not having any disease or situation listed. With at least three years’ working
experience; be a bachelor’s degree holder when applying for master’s program & be a master’s
degree holder when applying for doctoral program; be sufficient in English which meets the academic
requirements of the program, be equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 and above level.

For the purpose of supporting the development of Confucius Institutes, facilitating international promotion
of the Chinese language and dissemination of Chinese culture.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to international students from 16 to 35 years old. The applicants
must have Chinese Proficiency Test HSK 200 or HSKK 60.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded full coverage on tuition fees, accommodation fees, living allowance

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in politics, economy, culture,
education and trade between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series

research in Chinese universities.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to new students during their bachelor’s degree who are no older

the $1 billion HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund (the Fund) to recognize outstanding local and non-local
students.

ORGANIZATION (WMO) PROGRAM
WMO Program is the scholarship established by MOE of China for World Meteorological Organization (WMO)
to sponsor international students to study and conduct research in meteorology in China. The two designated
universities for this program are Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and Hohai University.
• ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and
be in good health. The majors are limited to Meteorology, Hydrology and Water Resources Monitoring
& Management.
• AWARD: This is a partial scholarship which covers a tuition waiver, accommodation, living expenses and

CHINESE TRADE UNIONS SILK ROAD SCHOLARSHIP

To develop the friendly relations between trade unions of China and countries along the “Belt and Road”,
CTUSRS provides a full scholarship to scholars to study Chinese for one year.
• ELIGIBILITY: The applicant must be a citizen of a country other than the PRC, and preferably from one
of the countries along the “Belt and Road” and in sound physical and mental health.
• AWARD: CTUSRS provides a full scholarship award covering all program-related expenses including

MARINE SCHOLARSHIP OF CHINA
To enhance international marine cooperation and exchange, and promote harmonious ocean development
in the region and around the world, the program is sponsored by the State Oceanic Administration (SOA) and
the Ministry of Education of China for the purpose of providing financial support to outstanding students.
The scholarship is offered by the following: Xiamen University, Zhejiang University, Ocean University of China,
Tongji University.
• ELIGIBILITY: The applicant should be a citizen of non-Chinese nationality in good health, from a coastal/

The Finnish government offers scholarships of 3-9 months for Doctoral level studies and research at Finnish
universities or public research universities. The Finnish government scholarship pool program is open to
young researchers from all academic fields. The scholarship does not apply to master’s level studies, post
doctoral studies, or research.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who have been at least provisionally accepted either
as a visiting Doctoral-level student/researcher, or as a full-time Doctoral degree student. For full eligibility

FULBRIGHT FINLAND U.S. STUDENT PROGRAM
The Fulbright Finland awards grants to U.S. students who hold a minimum of bachelor’s degree. Academically
talented graduating seniors may also apply before having the degree in hand.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to U.S. students.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded €1,000 – €1,500 EUR per month. Grantees also receive a travel
award of $1,600 USD and an accident and sickness insurance for the grant period. Additionally, grantees

AALTO UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Aalto University scholarship program seeks to recognize talented non-EU/EEA students from across the
world by awarding academic excellence scholarships. These scholarships are merit based and are granted
on a competitive basis. The number is limited depending on the overall number of selected non-EU/EEA
students per degree program.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to non-EU/EEA citizens. Only students who are liable to pay tuition
at Aalto University are eligible to apply for Aalto University scholarships.

EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIPS IN FRANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Development to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students
to enrol in their master’s and PhD courses. It helps to shape future foreign decision-makers in the
private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applications from emerging countries
at master’s level, and from emerging and industrialized countries at PhD level.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to candidates of non-French nationality. Candidates with two

Each year, École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international selection allowing the most promising
international students, either in science or in arts & humanities, to follow a three-year master’s degree at the
University.

must not be after their 26th birthday when they apply; candidates must not have applied to the
International Selection before; candidates must not have lived in France more than 10 months during

Every year Politecnico di Milano offers a number of merit based scholarships to the most talented international
candidates admitted to a Master of Science programme to the 1st or 2nd semester. Students obtaining a
scholarship will have to pay only a non-refundable administrative fee of about €200 EUR.

SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN JAPAN
JFUNU SCHOLARSHIP FOR PHD IN SUSTAINABILITY SCIENCE

The Japan Foundation for UNU (JFUNU) Scholarship is available for outstanding applicants from developing
countries who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance and who are granted admissions to the
PhD program in Sustainability Science at United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of
Sustainability (UNU-IAS).
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to applicants from developing countries who can demonstrate a
need for financial assistance; Applicants who are currently living in Japan under a working visa are NOT
eligible for the scholarship; Applicants who want to pursue a second PhD degree at UNU-IAS are not

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a monthly allowance of ¥120,000 JPY for living expenses for a
maximum of 36 months. However, travel costs to and from Japan, visa handling fees, and health/
accident insurance costs must be covered by the student. The tuition fees are fully waived for the
scholarship recipients.

JAPANESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology offers scholarships to international
students who wish to study at Japanese universities as undergraduate students under the Japanese
Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to citizens of countries that have diplomatic relations with

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded tuition and other fees, allowance of ¥117,000 JPY per month (an
additional monthly stipend of ¥2,000 JPY or ¥3,000 JPY may be provided to those undertaking study or
research in specially designated regions) and travel costs to and from Japan.
AICHI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

This scholarship is aimed at students interested in complete a major in Japan in a field recognized as
pertinent to the support of Aichi’s manufacturing industry.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of Asian countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei,
Cambodia, China, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal,
Pakistan, The Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded ¥150,000 JPY per month, transportation to/from Japan, entrance

ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK/JAPAN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (JSP)

The Asian Development Bank/Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) offers about 150 postgraduate scholarships a
year for studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to those who have gained admission to an approved MA/PhD
course at a participating academic institution. Candidates should be 35 years old or younger; in
good health; with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent; and have a superior academic record. Upon
completion of their study programs, scholars are expected to return to their home country to

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded full tuition fees, a monthly allowance for expenses, housing, books
and instructional materials, medical insurance and travel. For scholars engaged in research, a special
grant may be available for thesis preparation. In special circumstances, computer literacy, preparatory
language and other similar courses may be covered under the scholarship.

WASEDA UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Waseda University Scholarships are given to privately-financed international students. Government-
sponsored international students and students whose tuition is being paid by a foreign government or
scholarship organization will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship programs.

JAPAN HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS (JDS) FOR
DEVELOPING COUNTRIES IN ASIA
The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid (JDS) is to support human
resource development of the Japanese grant aid recipient countries.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to nationals of Kyrgyz Republic, Myanmar, Laos, Mongolia,
Philippines, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Tajikistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Cambodia.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded full tuition fees, a monthly subsistence and housing allowance, an
allowance for books and instructional materials, medical insurance, and travel expenses.
IMF SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR ASIA

The Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Asia (JISPA) is funded by the Government of Japan, administered
by the International Monetary Fund. It aims to contribute to institutional capacity building of key
macroeconomic management agencies in Asia.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to qualified candidates from the following countries: Bangladesh,
Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao P.D.R., Malaysia, Maldives,
Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Island Countries, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka,

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded full tuition fees; a monthly stipend (including the housing allowance
and medical/accident insurance); one round-trip economy class air-ticket; and a lump-sum allowance to

INPEX SCHOLARSHIP
INPEX Scholarship Foundation is offering scholarships for Indonesian students to study postgraduate course
of the university in Japan.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to international students.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded ¥160,000 JPY per month. Recipients will also be awarded full tuition,
travel expense for the academic meetings (up to ¥100,000 JPY for a year), arrival money of ¥60,000 JPY,
round trip ticket, and 6 months Japanese language school fee.
SCHOLARSHIP OF KANBE ZAIDAN

The Zaidan Foundation is designed to enhance intercultural understanding starting with the international
dissemination of the Arab cultural heritage.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to all international students.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded ¥500,000 JPY as the maximum for a person.

KUMAMOTO UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL
STUDENTS
Kumamoto University offers a tuition waiver system for students with financial difficulties. Full waivers and
half waivers are available. These can be applied for the term following entrance to the university, but it is not
guaranteed that the fees will be waived. The application period every year is around February for the first
semester and around July for the second semester.

The Foundation awards scholarships to foreign students intending to study at a master’s course of a
Japanese graduate school.
• ELIGIBILITY: Self funding international students who don’t have any other scholarships.
• AWARD: ¥180,000 JPY per month for a period of 2 years.

NITORI INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION GRANT

IN JAPAN
International students who are currently studying in Japan can now apply for the Nitori International
Scholarship Foundation Grant. Applicants must be enrolled as international students in a bachelor’s degree
or Master’s degree program.
• ELIGIBILITY: International students who are currently living in Japan. Applicants must have the ability
of daily Japanese conversation.
• AWARD: ¥80,000 JPY per month for one year.

TU RESEARCH-ORIENTED INCOMING STUDENT (ROIS) SCHOLARSHIP

Tohoku University offers scholarships to qualified international students who are accepted under a student
exchange agreement between TU and its partner institutions outside Japan. This scholarship is funded by the

Temple University, Japan Campus awards three different merit scholarships every semester to incoming degree-

RAINFOREST ALLIANCE KLEINHANS FELLOWSHIP
The Rainforest Alliance has a long history of working with forest communities that have established their own
locally managed enterprises, providing them with training and technical assistance on sustainable forestry
practices, value-added processing, business administration, market access and more. The geographic scope
of the Kleinhans Fellowship is restricted to Latin America, with a preference for the following locations:
Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and Peru.
• ELIGIBILITY: This fellowship is open to candidates with a master’s degree in forestry, ecology, botany,
environmental science or an appropriate related field. Doctoral candidates or post-doctoral researchers
are preferred, although applicants may substitute relevant experience for higher-level degrees.

The National Council for Science and Technology, offers tuition scholarships to full-time students enrolled in
Master’s programs registered in the National Registry of Quality Graduate Programs, specially in Strategy and
Business Competitiveness or Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

LEIDEN UNIVERSITY EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Leiden University offers scholarships to excellent non-EU/EEA students studying their master’s degree and
students of all nationalities studying a Master of Law Advanced program or a Master in Cyber Security or
International Relations and Diplomacy.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to non-EU/EEA citizens who are not eligible for support under the
Dutch system of study grants and loans.
• AWARD: The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship program has three awards: €10,000 of the tuition
fee; €15,000 of the tuition fee; and total tuition fee minus the statutory tuition fee. The number and type
of award of the scholarship depends on the budget available for each faculty department. The type of
award has no reflection on the students’ academic level of excellence. Please be aware that the LExS is
not a full scholarship.

The Maastricht High Potential Scholarship is intended for international students who wish to pursue a
master’s or professional program at Maastricht University. This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry
of Education, Culture and Science in conjuction with Dutch universities of applied sciences.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to excellent students from outside the European Union/European
Economic Area (EU/EEA) who wish to do a master’s or a professional education program at Maastricht
University.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded living expenses of €11,400 or €22,800, insurance of €700, visa cost
of €174 and tuition fees of €13,800 or €16,800.

The University of Amsterdam offers a prestigious new scholarship program for exceptionally talented and
academically outstanding master’s students from outside Europe.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to non-EU students from any discipline who graduated in the top
10% of their class may apply. Selection is on the basis of academic excellence, ambition and the relevance
of the selected master’s program to a student’s future career.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a full scholarship worth €25,000 EUR (covering tuition and living
expenses).
UTRECHT EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Utrecht University offers 25 excellence scholarships divided over 6 graduate schools that are for students
who want to pursue their master’s degree in the Netherlands.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to international students who have completed their studies
outside the Netherlands.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded full tuition fees or tuition fees plus €11,000 EUR living expenses.

RADBOUD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Radboud Scholarship Program is a very selective scholarship program. It offers talented, highly motivated,
non-EEA students with outstanding study results the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship for a complete
English-taught Radboud University Master’s degree program.
• ELIGIBILITY: You will only be eligible to apply for a Radboud Scholarship if you hold a non-EU/EEA
passport and are not eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons. Additionally you have (will
obtain) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands and have no degrees achieved in the
Netherlands.
• AWARD: A full scholarship covers the tuition fee of €16,000 EUR and living costs of €10,800 EUR. A partial
scholarship will reduce the tuition fee to €2,168 EUR.

TU DELFT EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR

TU Delft offers a number of scholarships that are 3 per faculty and are available for outstanding international
students. This scheme is financed by Justus & Louise Van Effen who studied at TU Delft in the 1940s and
strongly believed technological developments will contribute to solving societal issues.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to international applicants admitted to one of TU Delft’s MSc
programs with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum
in their bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside the Netherlands.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a full fee waiver for a TU Delft MSc program and living expenses
for 2 years. Membership to the Scholarship club giving access to personal development, workshops,
seminars, etc.
UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Twente offers scholarships to non-EU students to pursue a master’s program. The benefit
of UTS is becoming one of the most promising UT students as well as an exclusive opportunity to take part
in an intake for one of the three honours programs: Research honours, design honours or change leaders.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to excellent students from both EU/EEA as well as non-EU/

The VU Fellowship program offers talented prospective international students the unique opportunity to
pursue a master’s degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. VU is committed to providing approximately one
million Euros toward attracting highly motivated and excellent students.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students of all nationalities who are academically excellent and
admitted at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a tuition fee waiver. VUFP scholarship does not provide any additional
allowance towards study or living costs.

TILLBURG UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Tillburg University offers international students excellent sholarships who are admitted to a research
(master’s program).
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to non-EU citizens.

THE HOLLAND SCHOLARSHIP

The Holland Scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands. This scholarship is financed by the Dutch
Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of
applied sciences.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to non-EEA citizens who are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or
master’s program at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded €5,000 EUR. This will be received in the first year of your studies but
is not a full-tuition scholarship.

SINO DUTCH SCHOLARSHIP

The Sino Dutch Scholarship program is financed by the Dutch ministry of Education where the China
Scholarship council is responsible for the pre-selction of candidates. This program focuses on excellent
Chinese third year bachelor’s, master’s or PhD students who want to study or do research in the Netherlands
for at least one academic year.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to excellent Chinese third year bachelor’s, master’s or PhD
students who want to study or do research in the Netherlands for at least one academic year.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a contribution of €16,113 EUR towards the total costs of a study or
research in the Netherlands.
ORANGE TULIP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Orange Tulip Scholarship Program (OTS) gives talented students in several Neso countries the
opportunity to study in the Netherlands. It is offered by higher education institutions, multinationals and
government institutions.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students from the following countries: Brazil, China, India,
Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a tuition fee waiver to study their bachelor’s or master’s degrees at

MENA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The MENA Scholarship program offers scholarships to professionals for short courses in the Netherlands.
They aim to contribute to the democratic transition in the participating countries.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to nationals of one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iran,
Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a tuition-free short course in the Netherlands.

VUFP ETHIOPIA PROGRAM

The VUFP Ethiopia scholarship is for talented, motivated Ethiopian students who need financial support to
study at VU Amsterdam.
• ELIGIBILITY: Eligible candidates should apply for the first year of a full-time English-taught Master’s
program at Vrije Universiteit. They have to have Ethiopian nationality and be not eligible for support
under the Dutch system of study grants and loans.They should not have a degree from an education
institution in the Netherlands.
• AWARD: The VUFP Ethiopia scholarship partially overs the tuition fees. It does not provide any additional
allowance towards study or living cost.

With this NN Future Matters scholarship and coaching program, NN aims to help students engage in their
own professional development. Students will be matched with an NN mentor who will coach them throughout
their studies.

in memory of Sir Neil Isaac, who had a lifelong enthusiasm for enhancing relationships between people and

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

International students who apply to study at Russian universities are eligible to apply for state funded
scholarships that are a limited number. There is a competitive selection for the scholarship (quota for
international students) which is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices around the world.
In the countries where Rossotrudnichestvo is not represented, the competitive selection is organized by
Russian diplomatic missions (embassies or consulates).
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to certain groups of foreigners, Russians living abroad, and
immigrants. These students can apply for state scholarships on the same terms as Russian citizens once
they pass entrance exams or Uniform State Examination (EGE).
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded free tuition for the entire duration of the chosen program;
maintenance allowance (for the entire duration of study regardless of the candidate’s success). In

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AT SIBERIAN
FEDERAL UNIVERSITY IN RUSSIA
Students who wish to pursue research in the areas of theoretical non-linear optics, x-ray spectroscopy,
nanoplasmonics and quabtum chemistry can apply for the ‘postdoctoral research fellowship’ funded by
the Institute of Nanotechnology, Spectroscopy and Quabtum chemistry. This scholarships aims to support
candidates with the effort, study and research in all areas of knowledge.

The MasterCard foundation has partnered with University of Cape town to oversee the implementation

Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape town. The vision of this program is to transition young
people from beneficiaries to benefactors while preparing them with the necessary values, knowledge, skills
and leadership to fuel economic and social progress across Africa.

international exchange and research. Two scholarships are offered, research and art scholarships, for students
seeking postgraduate degrees. Receipients are selected by the awarding body, the Federal commission for
scholarships for foreign students.
• ELIGIBILITY: Research scholarships are open to post-graduate researchers in any discipline (who hold
a master’s degree as a minimum) who are planning to come to Switzerland to pursue research or

EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP & OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM
ETH Zurich offers an excellence scholarship & opportunity program to excellent master’s students, offering
cost waivers as well as specific supervision.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to excellent students both from the ETH and from other universities
(national and international) wishing to pursue their master’s degree at ETH Zurich. The prerequisite is
a very good result in their bachelor’s. Students must belong to the top 10 percent of their bachelor’s
program.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded living and study expenses (CHF 11,000 per semester) as well as a
tuition fee waiver. The scholarship begins when the student commences his or her master’s degree and
is awarded for the regular duration of the master’s program (three or four semesters). It is awarded
independently of the scholarship holder’s financial situation.
IMD EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

IMD offers a variety of merit and need-based MBA scholarships. Applicants may apply to several
simultaneously, however, only one scholarship can be awarded per candidate. Scholarships are granted
subject to nomination by the scholarship selection committee, acceptance into the program and confirmation
of your intention to participate in the program by paying the advance deposit.

EPFL offers a limited number of fellowships at the master’s level to students with outstanding academic
records. Some of these fellowships are financed by EPFL directly and others through partnerships with
foundations or companies.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to international students who have been accepted in Ecole
Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded CHF 16,000 per academic year (split into monthly payments), CHF
32,000 for a 2 years master’s (120 credits), and CHF 24,000 for a 1.5 year master’s (90 credits) including
reservation of a room in students accomodation. Fellowships for international applications include
CHF 10,000 (split into 2 payments) and a certificate of excellence for the results obtained during their
bachelor’s.

THE GRADUATE INSTITUTE, GENEVA REFUGEE SCHOLARSHIP

The Graduate Institute has decided to support refugees in Switzerland holding a B or F permit and wishing
to pursue their studies by offering them a full annual scholarship.
• ELIGIBILITY: Applicants should have been granted a Swiss Refugee status (Permit B) or have a
Provisional Admission for Foreigners status (Permit F). Applicants must also provide a letter from the
Swiss Government confirming refugee status or provisional admission in Switzerland.

EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP & OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM / ETH-
SCHOLARSHIP
ETH Zurich supports excellent Master’s students with two scholarship programs. The Excellence Scholarship
& Opportunity Program (ESOP) supports students with a scholarship, mentorship and a network of the ETH
Foundation. The scholarship covers the full study and living costs during the Master’s degree course. The
ETH-D Scholarship contains a partial stipend as well as additional offers by the Department (assistantship or
additional scholarship). There is only one application process for both Master scholarship programs.
• ELIGIBILITY: The scholarship programs are open to excellent students wanting to pursue their Master’s
degree at ETH Zurich. Applicants must have great results in the Bachelor’s degree program (top 10% of
the Bachelor’s degree program = grade A.
• AWARD: The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP consists of a grant covering living and study expenses (CHF
12,000 per semester) as well as a tuition fee waiver. The ETH-D Scholarship consists of a partial stipend
for living and study expenses (CHF 7,500 per semester) as well as a tuition fee waiver. The department
will additionally provide a scholarship of CHF 3’000 per semester or offer an assistantship
UNIL MASTER’S GRANTS

University of Lausanne offers scholarships for excellence that are exclusively for students who have graduated
from a foreign university and want to pursue their master’s degree in UNIL.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded CHF 1,600 per month for the complete duration of the master’s.
The scholarship is granted for the minimum statutory period of the program chosen by the student.

Gallen on the basis of merit. These grants are awarded yearly to students in the Assessment Year, which will
be paid out over a period of three years.
• ELIGIBILITY: Foreign students with internationally recognized and relevant educational qualifications
and certificates who have to have passed the internal admission test of the University of St. Gallen.

The Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva has an internationally top ranked science department and

lasts for one year and can be extended for the regular duration of the chosen master’s program (three

ALFRED WERNER MASTER’S STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship targets students from foreign countries in the top 10% of their undergraduate programs.
The goal of the program is to support talented students to perform their MSc studies in Switzerland.
• ELIGIBILITY: Candidates must apply for admission to a M.Sc. program at a Swiss University or a Swiss

support of the institution for an Alfred Werner Scholarship.

The Medicus Student Exchange Scholarship program provides partial financial support for U.S. Residents at

Institute of Technology. The full amount of these grants is paid directly to the university upon proof of

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship program was established in October 2000 by a donation from the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding
applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available
at the University of Cambridge.

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships (SSS) is a substantial program of scholarships, offered on a matched funding
basis between the Scottish Government and Scottish Higher Education Institutions. The scholarships
are designed to support the promotion of Scotland as a learning nation and a science nation and are
therefore targeted at the priority sectors of creative industries, life sciences, technology, financial services
and renewable and clean energy.

place at a Scottish university on an eligible course before an application can be considered. Additionally,

THE DENYS HOLLAND SCHOLARSHIP
The Denys Holland Scholarship aims to support undergraduate students from any country, who without the
support of the scholarship would be unable to secure the funding required to study at UCL, and who can
demonstrate their intention to make full use of the activities offered by UCL and the Student Union.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to applicants holding an offer of admission to UCL for full-time
undergraduate study in any department; in financial hardship, and be able to demonstrate that without
the scholarship they would be unable to study at UCL; preferably aged 25 or below at the time of
commencing their studies, and able to demonstrate that they have broad interests and intend to be
actively involved in and contribute to the life of the university.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded £9,000 GBP per year for three years, subject to satisfactory
academic progress and scholars may choose to use all or part of the scholarship to cover fees. Any
remainder is paid to the scholar as a maintenance stipend.
UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL

SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available in the majority of Sussex Schools, and are awarded on the basis of academic
performance and potential. The scholarships are offered for one year.

The University of Bristol is offers six International Office Scholarships for prospective undergraduate and
postgraduate students.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to international students that already hold an offer of a place
in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University of Bristol.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded the following: 1st place: 1 scholarship of £12,000 GBP; 2nd place: 2
scholarships of £10,000 GBP; 3rd place: 3 scholarships of £8,000 GBP.

TRANSFORM TOGETHER SCHOLARSHIPS
Transform Together Scholarships are exclusively for international and European Union (non-UK) students
starting a full-time taught course at Sheffield halam University. Scholarships are awarded to students who
can demonstrate excellent academic achievement. Applicants also need to describe how they will stand out
from the crowd as an ambassador for Sheffield Hallam University during and after their studies.

• AWARD: A half fee waiver (50% discount) is available for undergraduate and postgraduate taught
courses for the first year of study.
EDINBURGH GLOBAL RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS

These awards are designed to attract high quality overseas research students to the University of Edinburgh.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to overseas students starting a PhD in any field of study.
Applicants must be liable to pay tuition fees at the rate applicable to overseas students and must have
been offered admission to a full-time PhD research program of study.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded the difference between the tuition fee for a UK/EU postgraduate
student and that chargeable to an overseas postgraduate student. The awards do not cover maintenance
expenses. Subject to satisfactory progress, the awards are tenable for up to three years.
INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE FEE SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Bradford offers this scholarship to students from all other countries excluding EU countries.
• ELIGIBILITY: Students from all other countries excluding EU countries will be automatically assessed
based on your entry qualifications and nationality. Students on discounted partnership programs are
not entitled to this scholarship. The scholarship is only applicable to students who enter their program
in Year 0 (Foundation) or Year 1.
• AWARD: £2,500, £3,000 or £3,500 GBP.
• DEADLINE: These scholarships are automatically processed by the University and no separate
application is required.
QUINN ALLCHIN BURSARIES

Quinn Allchin Bursaries (funded by Quaker Peace Studies Trust): Two bursaries are available for any self-
funded international student in the Division of Peace Studies and International Development.
• ELIGIBILITY: Only those holding conditional or unconditional offer on one of the postgraduate programs
within the Division of Peace Studies and International Development. Applicant must be from one of the
Least Developed Countries as per the list on UN webpage and must have achieved first class honours
degree.
• AWARD: The bursary will contribute up to £8,000 pounds towards tuition fees.

PROFESSOR RAE EARNSHAW MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP
The University of Bradford is offering the Professor Rae Earnshaw Master’s Scholarship for an outstanding,
self-funding candidate paying either Home/EU fees or International fees, who has registered for one of their
Master’s courses.
• ELIGIBILITY: Self-funding UK or International students. The successful candidate will have a first class
honours degree. Scholarships are awarded to the students who submit the best statements on the
application form as judged by the panel.
• AWARD: For Home/EU students, the scholarship covers full tuition fees for the applicable course. For
International students, the scholarship covers part of the tuition fees – up to £8,160. International
Students would be expected to cover the additional associated tuition fees

INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIP AT UNIVERSITY OF

As an International Ambassador you will meet other international students on the scheme and you will be
asked to help showcase UWL to prospective international students, including helping out at Open Days,
participating in interviews, videos and photo-shoots with the Marketing department or engaging with visiting
international students.

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program provides expenses for a four-year course of study toward
a bachelor’s degree for up to eleven exceptionally able Asian students.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong,
Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

“full tuition scholarship”) regardless of his or her family’s financial situation.
MICROSOFT DISABILITY SCHOLARSHIP

The disAbility Scholarship at Microsoft delivers on the mission of Microsoft’s cross disability employee
resource group to empower and enable people with disabilities. This scholarship enables high school
students with disabilities to go to college and target a career in the technology industry. Microsoft additionally
hopes that this scholarship allows more people living with disabilities to enroll in higher education, and
decrease unemployment levels for this demographic
This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school seniors who plan to attend a vocational or
academic college and have a financial need. The amount of this renewable scholarship to be awarded is
$5,000 per year, up to $20,000. The scholarship is paid through the Seattle Foundation on behalf of the
disAbility Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Microsoft to the recipient’s school’s Financial Aid Office.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities, as long as they are a current high
school senior with living with a disability (as defined by WHO).
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $5,000 USD per year, up to $20,000 USD.

THE HUBERT H. HUMPHREY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is for experienced professionals interested in strengthening
their leadership skills through a mutual exchange of knowledge and understanding about issues of common
concern in the U.S. and Fellows’ home countries.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of eligible countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe
and Eurasia, Middle East and North Africa, East Asia and Pacific, South and Central Asia, and Western
Hemisphere.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded payment of tuition and fees, a maintenance (living) allowance,
medical insurance, book allowance, and air travel.
• DEADLINE: The deadlines for applicants vary by country.
LOTUS SCHOLARSHIP
The Lotus Scholarship is awarded to students who achieve high academic standards and demonstrate
a financial need in order to attend University of the West (UWest). The Scholarship was established
in 2012 and has so far been awarded to more than 150 students.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to new students seeking either bachelor’s degrees or master’s
degrees at UWest. Doctoral degree students, ELI students, or students seeking certificates only are not
eligible for this scholarship.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $5,000 USD – $10,000 USD, depending on the type of scholarship.
• DEADLINE: January and April.
NYU WAGNER MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Merit-based scholarships to help you finance your degree at New York University. Approximately 20% of
enrolling students are awarded scholarships.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to all full-time and part-time students.
• AWARD: The award varies depending on the scholarship. The scholarships range from $10,000 USD of
funding to full tuition fees payment.
COLUMBIA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

All international applicants eligible for full program admission to the traditional Day Campus are encouraged
to compete in Scholarship Day. Scholarship Day is a competition for the top awards as well as additional
leadership, talent, and institutional academic awards. The competition consists of two parts: a written essay
and an interview. Applicants to the College who are unable to attend Scholarship Day in person may compete
by completing their interview portion over the phone or through video conferencing.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to non-native English speakers applying to the main campus
in Columbia, Missouri. Students must also meet minimum eligibility requirements and be attending the
traditional Day Campus full time as a degree seeking student each semester.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a one time cash grant or 15% – 100% tuition reduction.

ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit-based scholarships are offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic
achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams. These awards range from $10,000 – $25,000
per year and are renewable for up to four years. In some instances, additional help is provided through
student loans and campus employment.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to highly qualified international students with talents, interests,
and academic achievements.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded anywhere from $10,000 USD – $25,000 USD per year.
THE NEXTGEN SCHOLARSHIP

The NextGen Scholarship Fund was created for international students and non-citizens who come to the
United States with hopes of obtaining higher education to create a better life for themselves and their families.
It is a local (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia) scholarship program that provides one annual award to a
qualified and outstanding high school senior or a current college student at a two-year or four-year college.
• ELIGIBILITY: To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be an
international student or non-citizen enrolled in a US school. Applicants umst currently reside in Washington
DC, Maryland or Virginia OR must be accepted into a college or university that is in the Washington DC,
Maryland, or Virginia tri-state area
• AWARD: $1,000 USD.
• DEADLINE: March.
MIT - ZARAGOZA WOMEN IN LOGISTICS AND SCM SCHOLARSHIP

Through the MIT-Zaragoza Women in Logistics and SCM Scholarship, ZLC hopes to motivate outstanding
female candidates to become active leaders in the Logistics field. Candidates will be expected to show
extraordinary potential for leadership and professional success, bringing new vision and commitment to the
area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• ELIGIBILITY: Scholarships are awarded only to students who have been admitted to the MIT-Zaragoza
Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program through ZLC‘s regular

Each year, Rotary awards up to 130 fully funded fellowships for dedicated leaders from around the world to
study at one of our peace centers. Through academic training, practice, and global networking opportunities,
the Rotary Peace Centers program develops the capacity of peace and development professionals or
practitioners to become experienced and effective catalysts for peace.
• ELIGIBILITY: The ideal candidate is academically strong, has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and
has work experience in peace and development. Candidates need to demonstrate a commitment to
peace and conflict resolution.
• AWARD: The fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all
internship and field-study expenses.

This program provides scholarships to those students who are studying in the USA and coming from the

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN SUPERIOR NON-RESIDENT TUITION

WAIVER PROGRAM
Through the Nonresident Tuition Waiver (NTW) Program, the university hopes to make the cost of studying
at UW-Superior affordable to a wide range of students from diverse backgrounds.
Students enrolled in a fully-online degree program are not charged nonresident tuition and therefore are not
eligible for the NTW Program. Admitted students will automatically be given consideration for an NTW Award
or an NTW Scholar Award based upon academic merit and/or financial need.
THE AU EMERGING GLOBAL LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship promotes educational access and opportunity while enhancing
