 Throughout this project I
feel that my skills have
developed in many different
aspects. In the beginning,
when I first started trying to
design my magazine, I
learned different techniques
and different styles that
should be used that are
more appealing to the eye.
 tried to use a photoshopping
website to create the layout for
my magazine cover but after
many trials and errors I ended up
going the simple route with
Microsoft word because it was
the easiest and most efficient
way, I could make the magazine
cover I was envisioning.
 When designing the cover,
the first picture I chose had
darker lighting and I had to
use weird color text to get the
words to stand out.
Fortunately, I learned that
using a background picture
with better lighting will help
the layout and appeal of your
magazine cover.
 I also did research to see
what different travel
magazines looked like to
take inspiration from and
create my own. I knew that
I wanted mine to be
different and stand out but
also be something that the
audience in the travel
community would be
willing to read.
