To our campaign President of the United States of America:

Dear sir,

I am writing today to inform you of my support of a position that I think will be beneficial
for our campaign party.

I believe we should be a part of the Paris Climate Agreement. As you probably know,
the Paris Climate Agreement is an agreement among almost 200 different countries
throughout the world. It was created to lower the overall temperature of the world. It is
believed that this will halt global warming and keep the ice caps from melting. Being a
part of this agreement and closely following the regulations that come with this
agreement will be beneficial to future and current generations. The United States has
been in and out of the Paris Climate Agreement over the last ten years. However, I think
we need to be permanently inserted into this agreement, since the constant wavering in
this policy might reflect badly on the United States as a nation. If we can waver on this
policy, what’s to say that we won’t waver on other policies as well. Therefore, to show
that the United States of America has a solid stance on international agreements and
can be trusted, we should be permanently inserted into this agreement.

Being part of this agreement could also improve some relationships with international
countries, since every time a country signs an international agreement, they are
creating a more unified world. 190 countries out of 195 countries are currently formally
part of this agreement. Examples of countries that are not part of the Paris Climate
Agreement are Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and a few others. Although some countries are not
part of the Paris Climate Agreement, it is important to support those that are and
contribute to making this world a better place. Therefore, I believe our party should
support this agreement and follow the regulations included in this policy.
