Revisit the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) found in the LDM2 Course Overview.
Reflect on your self-assessment from Activity 1. What particular professional standards in the PPST do
you need to focus on to effectively use the LDMs in relation to the content and pedagogy of the learning
area/s you are teaching? Write your answer and other insights in your Study Notebook. To guide your
answers, you can also refer to DepEd Memo No. 50, s.2020 on DepEd Professional Development
Priorities and the Continuing Professional Development Guidelines.

Content knowledge and its application within and across the curriculum areas. Since the delivery of
learning for the incoming school year 2020-2021 is different from the usual we have, it is expected
that teachers will deepen their knowledge and understanding towards their subject being taught.
Several webinars were conducted to help teachers in preparing for the new normal in education.
Teachers should think outside the box on how will learning would take place effectively even if there
are no chance of having a face-to-face interaction.
Positive use of ICT. One of the learning delivery modalities that our school had adapted is the online
distance learning. Presently, there are 1-2 out 5 sections of ODL per grade level. Teachers and
students will have their virtual discussions using available online platforms such as Zoom and Google
Meet. With this, it is highly encouraged to use these platforms for educational purposes only. This
means that other agenda aside will be done during class hours.

3. Accomplish the Individual Development Plan Template by referring from your output in Lesson 1
Activity 3 of this Module.
