In this gospel, Jesus was in a holy space during holy time doing a holy act. Yet the holiness of time, space and action combined have not barred the entry of a man possessed with an evil spirit in the synagogue. Evil can coexist with the sacred and it does not harm them at all. It is only when a conscious act of expelling them happens that they are driven away. Evil is around us, however Jesus is with us to condemn the devil and dominate the goodness. In the aspect of life, acknowledgement in the presence of God is a must. Indeed, we are face with distinct struggles, problems, and other loads yet if we focus on Him it will result lightness as well surpasses the challenge faced, we need to consciously exorcise these evils that creep into our Church by invoking God’s power.
