ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY

1. What is my own -understanding of anatomy and physiology? How will it help me in

becoming a Vincentian-Anthonian Nurse in the future?

In every subject there is a corresponding purpose which serves as a helping hand to

every student. Anatomy and physiology plays a big role in human life.

First let me define anatomy base on my own perspective; a subject which covers a
wide range of studies, including the structure of body parts, their microscopic organization,
and the processes by which they develop. Furthermore, anatomy examines the relationship
between the structure of body part and its function.

On the other hand, physiology deals with the process or functions of living things.
As well as to recognize the structure is dynamic rather than static or unchanging.

Two is better than one. A power of combinations that leads into a way of becoming
better nurse in the future. Without prior knowledge it is hard for me/us to identify the
respective structure and functions of body parts. An essential subject that must be focus on.

2. What Am I looking forward to on this subject?

Expect the unexpected learnings. The mere fact we will study every details that
contains the human body. Also, the questions runs in my mind for a long time will establish
answer with the help of this subject. An arduous yet exhilarating experience to encounter.

3. What are my possible strengths and weaknesses while studying this subject? How will I
improve my weaknesses?

Identifying strengths and weaknesses are the way to know myself deeper. Honestly
speaking, I am confident enough of having an interest in studying the subject. When I was
young my curiosity as well as my eagerness to fill up my dear brain rises regarding how does
a particular organ, systems, and organism works together. While my weakness is seeing
peculiar matter within the body.
4. I am expecting my Instructor to be:

The one who lightens our mind over darkness. Just as the road without a light, step by
step my instructor will be on our side to guide as we go on a journey in life. Hoping she attain
same patience like the river.

1. If you could see into the future, would you try to see your own future? Why or why not?

Absolutely no. The reason behind, I don’t want to drop the most exciting part of my
life. The feeling of being in the place where I should stand is better than seeing.

2. Where would you like to be in 10 years?

A moment of imaginations that striving hard to make it into reality. No one knows
about the future ahead but we are the one who works with it. Making such decisions in life is
a risk whether it has good or bad outcome.

This question did not fade wherever we go. It give us a chance on what we look like in
the end. I calculated and foresee myself working abroad along with a stable life.

3. If you could be a character in any movie, which one would you choose? Why?

Disney movies is a way preferable to watch even though the character is not realistic
but they bring bunch of lesson to realize.

Elsa the character in the movie known as ‘Frozen’. A perfect mythic character shows
braveness in conquering her fear. Just like her, having fear is not that easy. But I am willing
to face and let go for the improvement of myself.

4. If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?

Being invisible is a great opportunity to try out. Once in a lifetime, I would rather
exert curve in the face of each one of us by helping even in a manageable situation. Without
waiting an exchange.

5. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

As I mentioned earlier, I am a fan of Disney movies. One of the superpower to possess
is having a magic wand of faeries. For me to grant every wishes of people in this world. But
before that I will definitely identify who’s worth giving.
6. What do you like most about school so far (now with the new normal)? What would you
like to see changed?

Proud to say that I am a product of St. Anthony College of Roxas City, Inc. since then.
As a Vincentian- Anthonian I imbued the ideals of faith and core values. The punctuality and
discipline still exist. Instructors find ways to access to his/her students.
