Dear Students,

1. It gives me immense pleasure to inform that on attaining required merit you have
been provisionally selected to undergo MS Engineering program at U.S.-Pakistan Center
for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E). I along with my faculty and staff members
congratulate you and welcome you to USPCAS-E, which is going to be your home for the
next 2 years.

For orientation ceremony, you are expected to reach NUST, H-12 sector Islamabad by
08:30 a.m. on Friday, 30 August 2019. From NUST gate you will proceed to USPCAS-E
Seminar Hall for registration and orientation. On arrival at USPCAS-E, 1st step will be
the completion of your Registration process and verification of your documents.
Orientation and introduction session will take place at 10:45 a.m. after completion of
Registration.

Please present the following documents to complete registration process.

a. Original SSC, HSSC, Bachelor & Master’s Degrees & Transcripts, Certificates
b. 2x Attested Photocopies of each educational certificate/degree
c. Surety Bond on stamp paper RS.100/- duly signed by two notable persons
d. 1x Undertaking by the student and parents / Guardian duly signed / Counter Signed
e. 2x Registration forms duly affixed with passport size photographs
f. 4x colored photographs for ID Card (1” x 1” size)
g. 2x attested photo-copies of CNIC
h. GAT test result (original and photocopy)
i. Admission confirmation letter and Copy of submitted dues/challan
j. Medical Fitness Certificate duly issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner doctor
of any Government hospital to the effect that the student is not suffering from any
communicable disease, including Hepatitis, and is mentally /physically fit to
undergo the course of studies. The certificate is attached in the email.
Important

2. Comprehensive joining instructions have already been issued by PGP directorate NUST
along with merit list on the website. Further to these instructions, few guidelines in the
form of joining instructions by USPCAS-E can be found as an attachment for your
reference. You are required to email the acknowledgement of joining instructions
attached with this letter no later than 28 August 2019 to admissions@uspcase.nust.edu.pk

3. Classes will commence on 02 September 2019 at 09:00 am. Details of courses offered in
the first semester will be shared at the time of registration.
