Dear Candidate, Based on the result of ICAR's 17th All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA-UG-2012) to Bachelor degree programmes in agriculture and allied sciences on 15% seats in State Agricultural Universities, CAU, BHU, Nagaland University, Visva Bharati, SHIATS and all seats at NDRI Karnal in the academic session 2012-2013, this is to inform that you have qualified for the Counseling. You are likely to be recommended for admission in a University, based on the Counseling in the subject of your choice, subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions of that University and the availability of seats at your merit rank and category. In order to attend the counseling, it is essential to fill up the Counselling Form provided to the qualified candidates (copy enclosed) and submit the same, duly filled in and signed and countersigned by the parents/guardian along with self attested photocopies of the required under mentioned certificates to the Counselling Committee. The counseling form must have clear options for 4 choices of subjects and 6 choices of preferred Universities. In case, all seats in the subject at the university opted for, are exhausted by the time candidate reaches counseling desk, he/she shall have the option to provide fresh choice of subjects/ universities wherever seat is available. The preliminary certificate checking for eligibility of candidature, based on the submitted photocopies of certificates, will be done before counseling. However, the original documents shall be verified by the officials of admitting universities at the time of admission during counseling. Accordingly, you are required to appear for Counseling at AP Shinde Symposium Hall, NASC Complex (ICAR), Dev Prakash Shastri (DPS) Marg, (Opp. Todapur), Pusa, New Delhi-12 (on East Patel Nagar to Inder Puri Road) (Please see Counseling Schedule, time and location map as enclosed and also on ICAR website: www.icar.org.in along with the U.G. result). While reporting for Counseling, you must ensure that all the eligibility conditions as laid down (see Information Bulletin (IB), particularly pages 2 & 3), are fulfilled in toto by you, including age limit, percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 Examination, proof of having studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects etc. ICAR/Universities will NOT be held responsible for denial of admission to non-eligible candidates. Please bring the following documents with you (also see p.9 of Information Bulletin) along with self attested photocopy of each certificate: 1. All certificates and mark sheets/grade reports, in original related to Class X and XII, Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate, Character Certificate from the School last attended, etc. 2. In case of candidates from SC, ST and non-creamy layer of OBC categories, Original Certificate as per Central Govt. requirements and issued by Competent Authority. 3. Medical Certificate in case of Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability. 4. In case the Date of Birth is not mentioned in Class X Certificate, Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate. 5. Candidates copy of the Admit Card, counseling call/invitation letter from ICAR. 6.Three recent and clear passport size colour photographs. 7.Domicile certificate. 8.Authority letter/undertaking in the prescribed format (Annexure-III of IB), if the candidate is unable to attend the counseling personally. Registrars of all the concerned Universities (as listed on pages 37-38 of the Information Bulletin) have been invited for the Counseling and granting admission. For confirming the admission, you will be required to deposit part admission fee of Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable) in cash, positively with the Registrar of the concerned University for which receipt will be taken by you. Also, your original certificates will be required to be deposited with the Registrar. In case of late reporting by the candidate for counseling due to any reason, he/she will lose claim for admission that was due at his/her rank. However, such candidates may be considered for admission against left out seats at the time of reporting. No claim/compensation for problems (if any) encountered or cost incurred in attending the Counseling will be entertained by the ICAR/Universities. It may be noted that the candidates admitted in any University located OUTSIDE their domicile State will receive National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of Rs.1,000/- per month for the prescribed duration of Bachelor degree programme subject to maintaining satisfactory performance in studies (7.00/10.00 OGPA) throughout the period of study and good conduct etc. Ragging in the Universities, in any form, is a criminal offence and has been strictly banned.
