RECRUITMENT NOTICE
Subject: Recruitment for the post of Senior Resident on tenure basis in All India Institute of Medical Sciences,
Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

Online Applications are invited for filling up posts of Senior Resident in following departments at AIIMS Rishikesh on tenure
basis.

Department: Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Burns & Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dermatology,
Emergency Medicine, E.N.T., Endocrinology, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, General
Surgery, Medical Oncology/Haematology, Microbiology, Obs & Gynae, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Neonatology,
Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nuclear Medicine, Paediatrics, Paediatric Surgery, Pathology, Pharmacology,
Physiology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radio-Diagnosis, Radio Therapy, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology,
Transfusion Med & Blood Bank, Trauma Surgery and Urology.

Essential Qualification (as on 31 August, 2020)
For Medical Candidates:

(i) A postgraduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/DNB/D.M./M.Ch in the respective discipline from a recognized
University / Institution.
For Non-Medical Candidates (only for Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology and
Physiology):
(i) The candidate should possess M.Sc. Degree in the subject concerned and
(ii) Ph.D. in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University / Institute.

Candidates who have already completed/ done three years of Senior residency will not be considered.

Age: The upper age limit for Senior Resident post is 40 years as on last date of submission of online application form (i.e
17.07.2020) and relaxation will be as per GoI rules and regulation as amended from time to time.
The candidate should have passed the qualifying exam on or before 31st August 2020 and the results for the same should
also be declared till or before 31st August 2020.
Last Date of submission of Online Application Form is: 17.07.2020.

Pay Scale: -
Rs.15600-39100 + 6600 (Grade Pay) + NPA (for medically qualified candidates only), Pay of Level 11 of Pay Matrix as per 7
CPC.
