Facebook (the beginning of an era)

The story of Facebook begins in October 2003 in the United States , when Mark
Zuckerberg at only 18 years old created a website to entertain his Harvard classmates. This
success led Zuckerberg to create a new social network with his teammates Eduardo
Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes on February 4, 2004, and at that time they
created the first social network in the world….

How to use it
Facebook is a website which allows users to sign up for free profiles,to connect with friends
and work collage. Also you can organize your content in an interest list
to which your friends can subscribe as if it were an RSS feed and in turn you can subscribe
to the lists created by others. From Facebook it is very easy to upload photos and links to
web pages to share them and it is therefore an ideal platform for interesting information to
circulate, either at a broader level or in a smaller area.

Users
Facebook is one of the most famous social medias that exist in the world, that’s why it has a
lot of users. In total it has 2.7 billion users. They have to have a minimum age of fourteen
years old, but a lot of people, that are younger than the minimum age, use it too. Users that
have facebook have several interests but the most common are that people want to be more
connected to friends, see other videos or photos to get inspired, they also want to see the
events that happen in other countries, citys, etc.
Good and bad aspects
Facebook has good and bad aspects. A lot of people think that is very useful while others
think the opposite. Bad aspects: It causes addiction, people stay a lot of hours seeing
facebook. It generates bullying, people can hack your identity. Good aspects: You can talk
with friends or familiars that are far away from where you are, you can see the news fastly
and it makes people socialize.

These days most people our age do not use Facebook, are classified as a social network
for older people or to post posters of lost dogs/cats/birds/etc. It is still first among social
networks because somehow facebook was the original beginning, although most people at
this time do not use it.The question of why Facebook is no longer used is confusing, it is
because of a mixture of things, perhaps because it is no longer new, or because of all the
times we have heard that Facebook is dangerous. But do not forget that Facebook was the
beginning of the era of social networks….
