Baker Perkins provides the machines and equipment used by Unicup in the
production process of Milky Bites product. Baker Perkins' equipment and service drive
the production and profit at many of the world’s leading food manufacturers. In the
bread, biscuit, confectionery, snack and breakfast cereal sectors, top brands worldwide
rely on technology supplied by Baker Perkins.

• Cook Master™ Rotary Cereal Cooker the high-output Cook Master™ batch
cooker processes milled or whole cereal products including wheat, corn and bran. It is
a rotating live steam pressure unit that delivers the highest levels of quality,
consistency and efficiency. Fully automatic batch operation and a highly effective
mixing action ensure low operating and maintenance costs.
• Shred Master™ Systems shredding rolls form cooked cereal into distinctive, multi-
layered shredded cereals and snacks, including malted wheat squares, multi-layered
shredded wheats, 2, 3, or 4 layer corn or rice snacks, and shaped or filled products.
Many of these products contain a single ingredient, making them attractive to
consumers seeking a healthy diet. Shredding is an excellent technique to widen the
appeal, interest and variety of a cereal range.
• FlakeMaster™ Flaking Roll Baker Perkins' FlakeMaster™ Flaking Rolls provide
consistent processing of a wide range of flakes. These include corn, bran and
multigrain; traditionally-cooked grains and extruded pellets can also be processed.
Process conditions are accurately controlled for optimum performance and delivery of
consistent, high-quality flakes. Increased hygiene levels and easy access to all
machine parts contribute to ease of cleaning and maintenance.
• Thermoglide2™ Toaster The Thermoglide2™ is designed for drying and toasting
breakfast cereals uniformly and consistently. The product is gently lifted and rotated
in a cushion of air to ensure it is processed with minimum damage. The
Thermoglide2™ combines excellent processing with efficient dust extraction in a
compact and energy efficient unit.
• Preparation & Coating Systems Baker Perkins offer complete, fully-automated
systems for mixing, cooking and applying coatings to breakfast cereals. These
coatings add value, variety and interest to the products. Options include a glossy
coating (‘glazed’) or a ‘snowy’ coating (‘frosted’). For healthier products these
coatings can be made without sugar

- Securing a mayor’s permit ensures that Unicup is safe to operate under the city’s
ordinance.
• Security and Exchange Commission Registration Certificate
- Two or more persons and have an agreement to contribute time, money, or
property, your business falls under the corporation or partnership categories.
Corporations, either stock or non-stock, must obtain a SEC certificate to be
considered legal.
• SSS (Social Security System) Employer’s Registration
- Requires businesses or business owners who use the services of another person or
employees in business, trade, and industry.
• PhilHealth Employer’s Registration
- To provide social health insurance coverage to the employees.
• Pag-IBIG Employer’s Registration
- To secure the Pag-IBIG Employer ID Number and to provide the required
benefits to the employees, who should be fund members.

4. Operating and Support System

In the production we will use 2 to 5 personnel to operate the machines that will be used to
make the product or the production procedures. Every machines has 2 to 5 personnel.

Process
1. Cooking & Pellet Forming
Gentle steam cooking of cereal grains in Baker Perkins' Rotary Cereal Cooker
ensures that the texture, flavour and nutritional benefits of wholegrain ingredients are
retained in the final product. Once cooked, a Pellet Mill and Conditioner achieve the
correct size of flake, and then a Tempering Bin equalizes the moisture in the grain ahead
of flaking. A Dryer can also be added to the line to enable the manufacture of high quality
multigrain flakes alongside cornflake production.

2. FlakeMaster™ Flaking Roll


Consistent flake quality is achieved using the Baker Perkins FlakeMaster™
flaking rolls.

3. Thermoglide2™ Toaster
Controlled toasting and drying of the flakes takes place in the Baker Perkins
Thermoglide2™ toaster where the fluidized bed process minimizes product damage.
