Wanted Poster: 50 Points

Poster Requirements:
1. The poster must be on a regular size piece of paper 8 ½ * 11 -
Black/white or any color.
2. Mug Shot - We need to know what he/she looks like!
3. First, Middle and Last name of your scientist.
4. What are he/she famous for - their accomplishments? 2-3 complete
sentences, in your own words.
5. Reward $$$$$ amount.
6. Print your name in the bottom right-hand corner.

Online Presentation Requirements:
1. 1st Person Narrative - Must portray your scientist.
2. Dress, Language/accent, appearance must be accurate.
3. Introduce yourself: name, a brief history of your background, job, and
family.
4. Explain what you have discovered, how you discovered it, and what
your discovery will mean for the future.
5. Max time limit of 5 minutes.
6. Must be creative, authentic, and professional.

Scientist Research: 100 Points

Research Requirements:
1. Must construct a presentation
a. Poster, Paper, Google slides, etc. - Your choice, be creative!
b. Scientist’s full name (first, middle and last)
c. Pictures of your scientist.
d. Birthdate and year of death. (if applicable)
e. Country/State/City where he/she was born in?
f. Family information - husband/wife children, parents, brothers,
and sisters.
g. What college or schooling did your scientist attend?
h. Occupation/type of work.
i. Field of study (for example biology zoology, marine biology,
botany)
j. Where they did/do their work?
k. What is your scientist famous for?
l. What did they discover, invent, or contribute to society?
m. How has their discovery/invention helped society?
n. Are there any museums or other places that are named after
your scientist?
o. Did this scientist work with another scientist? Who was it and
what did they do?
p. What else was happening in history when this scientist was
famous? (example - WWII)
q. Famous quote
r. Two interesting facts
s. Picture of discovery or invention
t. Any other important information you can find
