How to tuning the database

How to tuning the database using "DBTunner" program

SUMMARY
In case of occurring ghost alarms, you have to tuning the database first as below
procedure. You can do this job on No.1 ACONIS server computer in the engine control
room.

Method
1. Login as supervisor on server No.1.

User ID : aconis2000
Password : aconis2000

Fill in the User ID and Password,

and then click the “OK’ button

2. Click the ACONIS logo at the left upper side on mimic of server no.1, then “SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION” window pops up and click the “DB TUNER” button

3. After step.2, DB Tuner window pops up like below image, and then check “All
servers”, “All Resources” and “Expert Function”

4. Click the Initial-Download button on the DB Tuner window

Click the “Initial-Download” button

Select “YES” button when

this window pops up.

The DB of server no.1 will be copied to all servers and the

aconis2000 program will restart automatically in the all servers.

5. The “download is completed” message will be displayed when the job finished.
Click the OK button and close DB Tuner window

Click “EXIT” icon to terminate

“DB Tuner” program

Click “OK” button when

this window pops up.

You can see message as

“ACONIS1 ACONIS2 PCMECR (P) PCMECR(S) Download is completed!”
If you see error message, please let us know that message

6. After downloading database, All ACONIS-2000 system restarts automatically as

below
™ The mimic will be flickered for 2 or 3 times.
™ All activated alarms will be occurred again in the Alarm page.
™ All INTERLOCK ON channels will be returned to INTERLOCK OFF status in the
Inhibit page
™ All MANUAL OFF channels will be returned to MANUAL ON status in the Mode
page

After finishing the above job, please check the alarm disappeared or not on the ACONIS
display.
