Agatha Christie was born on September 15, 1890 in

She was homeschooled and her mother encouraged her to

use her imagination and write.

Agatha published her first novel in 1920. In 1926 she released her favorite novel, The

her for another women. Heartbroken, Agatha mysteriously disappeared for several days only

to be found staying at a hotel under a different name! Later in 1930, she remarried and

spent time traveling with her new husband. The trips she took inspired many of her stories.
