CORRECTION
The 2006 edition of AS 4055 is amended as follows; the amendments should be inserted in the appropriate
places.
SUMMARY: This Amendment applies to Clauses 1.5, 3.2, Tables 3.3, 3.4 and 4.1, and Figures 1.1, 2.2
and 5.2.

1 The net design uplift pressures given in Table 4.1 are based on the following load
combinations:
(a) Serviceability limit state: W s − G.
(b) Ultimate strength limit state: W u − γG.
(c) W u and W s have been calculated as set out in Section 3 where V h = V h,u or V h,s as
appropriate, using the pressure coefficients as given in Section 3.
2 Load combination factor γ = 0.8.
3 G = 0.9 kPa for tile roof, G = 0.4 kPa for sheet roof.
4 Sheet roof includes metal tile roof.
