Surabaya. The fire that scorched the entire contents of this factory had panicked residents
whose houses were nearby. Dense black smoke rose when the fire burned PT Yamus Surya's
plastic pallet factory in Karangpoh area number 1 Margomulyo Surabaya. 15 fire
extinguishers and two bronto skylifts were deployed by the Surabaya city fire department to
extinguish the flames. the location of the factory in the middle of a residential area made
residents panic. The residents around the fire area immediately saved their belongings,
assisted by the community organization and the Tni members.

is related to the thickening of the smog due to a fire at a plastic pallet factory in Surabaya. It
is known to be lit from inside the factory Wednesday, March 31, 2021 since 12.00 WIB and it
is observed that it is still burning until 14.00. The fire was observed so big that black smoke
could be seen from a distance. As a result of the fire, the entire plastic pallet factory building
burned down. A total of 22 fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire. However,
firefighters were overwhelmed when extinguishing the fire due to strong winds. even 1
officer was reported to have collapsed due to lack of oxygen supply. The fire had spread to
residents' homes in a densely populated village next to the factory. Residents and officers
seemed struggling to save valuables that were still in people's homes. Meanwhile, the origin
of the fire and the cause of this fire are not yet known.

factory. Employees were also successfully evacuated out of the factory, local residents had
