Title: “Teaching Capability and Felt Condition of Parang NHS Teacher during the New
Normal of Teaching: Basis for Intervention Program”

Statement of the Problem:

1. What is the demographic profile of the teachers in terms of:

a. sex;
b. age;
c. current position;
d. no. of subject preparations;
e. net take home pay?
2. What is the level of teaching capability of teachers during the New Normal in terms of:
a. content knowledge & pedagogy;
b. diversity of learners & assessment and reporting;
c. curriculum and planning;
d. communication linkages and professional engagement & personal growth and
professional development?
3. What are the felt conditions of teachers in the light of the pandemic in terms of:
a. preparation of lesson plans, activity sheets and other learning materials;
b. distribution & retrieval of modules and activity sheets;
c. rating and reporting students’ progress;
d. designing and conducting intervention and remediation activities?
4. Is there a significant difference in level of teaching capability during the pandemic in
terms of sex, age, current position, and net take home pay?
5. Is there a significant relationship between the level of capability of teachers and their
felt conditions in the delivery of learning in the new normal?
6. What intervention could be proposed to improve the teaching capability of teachers
during the pandemic?
