High Infant and Toddler mortality rates and the largest contributor to pneumonia, diarrhea and measles. Various efforts have
been made by the central government to the regions. It can be pressed with an MTBS program designed to reduce mortality
and morbidity in Toddlers. Implementation of MTBS is inseparable from the role of health service personnel. Knowledge,
confidence and skill of health officer in applying of MTBS in order to achieve the success of MTBS in improving the health
of children especially toddlers. In carrying out its work is influenced by two factors, namely motivational factors and
hygiene factors. Motivational factors are things that encourage the achievement that is intrinsic, responsibility and
development of individual potential while hygiene factors are extrinsic factors such as compensation, working conditions,
policy implementation, supervision, work in tekuni.   To implement the implementation of Integrated Manajemem Balita
Sakit (MTBS) guidelines, it is important to motivate every health worker to improve performance. Lack of work motivation
can affect a person's performance. Performance in an organization is done by all existing human resources, both leaders and
officers.

OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Integrated Manajemem Balita Sakit (MTBS) officer in Kupang
District.

 METHODOLOGY
The type of this research is descriptive analytics using cross sectional design approach . This research was conducted at
Puskesmas se Kabupaten Kupang that is 26 Puskesmas that have been trained MTBS since 2008. Research conducted in
January - Pebuari 2016. The sample is determined by total sampling method that all officers IMCI as many as 35 people. The
data analysis used is univariate analysis to describe all research variables, both independent and dependent variables are
presented in the form of frequency distribution and narration table. Bivariate analysis to independent correlation between
independent variable that is actor Intrinsic (achievement, acknowledgment, occupied occupation, responsibility and
development of individual potency) and Extrinsic factor (compensation, working condition, policy, interpersonal relationship
and supervision) with dependent variable of work performance officer MTBS uses a chi-square test. Multivarite analysis to
know the relationship between independent variables with the dependent variable using multiple logistic regression.

RESULTS
Respondent by age (45.7%) in the 31 to 40 year age group. S ost (74.3%) of respondents have attended training 1-3 times
and most (57.1%) of respondents have 1 year working period in implementing MTBS. Most (> 50%) intrinsic factors
(recognition, occupation, responsibility and development of individual potential) are lacking. While extrinsic factors such as
kpppensation factor, working conditions, and interpersonal relationships) in Puskesmas Kabupaten Kupang are better (>
50%) than other extrinsic factors. The result of chi square analysis there is a correlation between intrinsic factors like
achievement (p = 0,001), recognition (p = 0,013), work in tekuni (0,027), and development of individual potency (0,037) and
unrelated variable is responsibility p = 0.268). There is a correlation between extrinsic factor of working condition (p =
0,005), policy (p = 0,005) and supervision (0,001) and interpersonal relationship (p = 0,766) with performance of MTBS
officer . The result of multivariate analysis found that there is a mutual influence between seven (7) independet factor with
performance of MTBS officer in Kupang District (Table 1).
