Ash Wednesday Event

This week I attended Ash Wednesday with my Fourth grade class. Since I am not

Catholic I have never attended Ash Wednesday before. The students were very excited to tell me

all about it. before we walked over to the church, a few of the students explained to me what Ash

Wednesday represented and why it is important in the Catholic Church. I was really glad that I

got to be a part of it and see what it was like. It was one students first time being able to

participate in Ash Wednesday since he had just joined the Catholic Church. It was nice to see all

of the other students excited for him as well.
