water resources , which aims to :

- The provision of safe drinking water to citizens .

- Cover the needs of the industrial units .
- Meet the requirements of agriculture , especially for large areas with high fertility
- Discharge of water used by residents, factories , and the separation of network
cleaning populted areas in the framework of complete plants for the purification
and wastewater treatment to avoid the risk of contamination.
To address this problem in Algeria has complete several projects in the field
of providing and improving the distribution of potable water , where led the
projects to control in concrete in this situation , and marked improvements in the
level of major cities and communities across the country , for the Algiers is
provided between the 340,000 cubic meters of water pre day to meet the needs
of population and industrial activities.
