Figurative Language Poetry Trick or Treating
1. Take the Figurative Language Trick or Treating log.
2. Your candy bucket (log) must have at least two metaphors
or similes, and two examples of personification in it.
3. Go to at least 2 poems posted around the room. Take a
copy.

b. Underline the metaphor or simile
c. Box the personification
4. On your log, write out the metaphors, similes, and
personification. Explain them as directed.
