What is a compliment? What do I compliment?
I can compliment:
A compliment is something nice that
you say to someone. It is a positive
and friendly comment. Something a person did or made
e.g. their grades or artwork

Why should I compliment? Something a person said


e.g. a joke or a story told
Compliments make people feel
good about themselves and Something a person owns
good about you.
e.g. their toys and games
People might think that I am nice
if I compliment them. It can help me Their appearance
to make friends.
e.g. their hair, clothes and jewelry
I shouldn't compliment people all

is enough. If I compliment people
too much it can annoy them. e.g. their humor and generosity

When should I compliment? What can I say?


I compliment people by telling them
I can compliment somebody if what I like about them.
I see something that I like about "That's a cool..." "That's a great..."

said or did. "I like your..." "Awesome..."

I can compliment someone if "What a pretty..." "Nice..."

Sometimes we compliment people How to receive a compliment
if they ask our opinion. I don't like to
hurt people's feelings, so I should If someone gives me a compliment
make 'polite' compliments and keep I should thank the person. I can say:
my opinions in my thought bubble
if it will hurt someone's feelings. "Thanks"
"I appreciate that"
