    Marie Sklodowska Curie was born on November 7, 1860 in Warsaw, Poland and received her early education from her father before studying physics at the University of Paris in 1891. She married Pierre Curie in 1895 and they worked together for 4 years on research into radioactivity, for which they received the Nobel Prize in 1903 and 1907. Marie's specialty was in radioactivity and she is known for her most famous book "Traite de radioactivite" published in 1910. She died on July 4, 1934.
