Fixing Our Food Habits Video Reflection

The video I wanted to view as part of a Cooking Channel show named "Fixing Our

Food Habits" The key aim of the video was to inform the viewer on the younger generation's

cooking patterns. People nowadays choose to satisfy their food cravings by viewing cooking

programs, reading books, or dining out rather than cooking for themselves at home.

To continue, this video stressed several nutritious points, such as consuming fresh

vegetables, fruits, and foods instead of frozen or packaged foods. The critical end of this

video was that nutrition is vital, but what is much more essential is the thinking, compassion,

and commitment that goes into preparing a meal. Rather than getting a quick fast-food meal

on the run, the characters in this video claim that a meal prepared at home and shared with

friends and family is healthier for diet and mental wellbeing because we interact with friends

and family when consuming nutritious food.

The dietary arguments were not too scientific since the video's primary goal was to

persuade the viewer to prepare from the household for themselves, their friends, and family

and friends. There was no evidence or analysis used in the film. Science was not included to

encourage people to prepare at home instead of dining out. Nevertheless, the video did an

excellent job of showcasing family dining merrily to persuade people that they should not

have professional chefs to cook and eat at home. Still, they only need to bring love into their

meals will be wonderful.

Furthermore, this video did a better job of encouraging me to eat from my home more

and indulge in outdoor eating as little as feasible. It certainly sounds like a straightforward

task and as though everyone should cook as much as they have the right mindset. According

to the video's cooks, the meal does not have to be expensive and can be produced with just a

few spices. What a single chef said that stayed with me was that food is indeed what defines

humans' lives, and its creation is in our nature. Following that, other aspects that should have

rendered this video more effective include using statistical correlations demonstrating that

dining at the household is much healthier than eating out. Using any evidence and maps may

have bolstered their reasons for preparing home-cooked food.

Moreover, I would suggest this video to a colleague since I support the message in it.

I accept that eating at homes with family and friends is advantageous to ordering or dining

out. I assume that eating or dining out now and then is not a negative idea as it can be a fun

activity for a family. Eating at home and enjoying meals with family is valuable to every

other activity and should be an everyday routine. In these modern days, I presume the video's

argument does not hold too many people, with people choosing fast food, buying take-out,

and dining out as the "standard," and just cooking at home on occasion. I recognize that

people have busy lives, but that is no justification to consume unhealthy things for yourself

and your relatives.

To summarize, I was surprised by this video at first since I expected it to be about

food principles and contrasting why it is easier to cook at home. It finally comes down to why

we feed and how food can be a sensual and relational activity. Individuals use meals and

beverages to interact with one another and develop connections. I loved this video as it has

helped me discover that even though I am not a professional chef, I can prepare simple, tasty

meals that can be enjoyed at home.
