What did I do that developed the objectives of my lesson?

I used PowerPoint presentations and a Modern Marvels documentary that helped delve into
the objectives that I laid out. I also used videos that helped demonstrate how the atomic
bombs were used. The presentation also contained a large number of pictures.
Were the materials and activities helpful for student learning?
I could tell the students did not enjoy the PowerPoint as much. They enjoyed documentary
more I think but were still not fully engaged. They were engaged by the pictures on the
PowerPoint though, and the videos that demonstrated how the bomb was used. I think the
pictures and shorter videos were much more helpful for the students than the documentary
was in making the information “click”, although I know the student definitely learned
something from the documentary based off the 3-2-1’s I got from it.
