Purpose: Apply concepts, frameworks/models to real-life business situations

Purpose
This assignment is a case study. The purpose of the assignment is to provide you the
opportunity to apply concepts, frameworks/models studied thus far in the course to real-life
business situations.

Task
In this assignment your task is to discuss digital innovation initiatives within a business context
and answer three questions. This entails the use of literature, e.g., concepts, frameworks/
models from the course, or other materials of relevance that you may find appropriate, to
elaborate and support your answers.

Requirements
The individual assignment is prepared, discussed, and presented at seminar 4 on 26th of April.
The seminar starts with individually answering the questions for the assigned case. Craft a PPT
presentation, which includes slides with:
- your name, date of submission and the name of the case
- the answers to the questions related to the case
- information about the literature used to support your answers
- reflections

The seminar continues with discussions of your answers and preparation of a joint PPT
presentation in small groups and then presented to the class.

After the seminar finalize your PPT presentation individually, e.g., update your answers, check
the layout, gramma, structure, etc. Name the file as Name and assignment number (e.g.
Mihailescu Daniela assignment 2). and remember to write your name and date of submission in
the document as well.

Examination and Grades


The assignment is examined through written submission and seminar participation. Your
discussion and presentation during the seminar give 2 points, first question gives 2 points and
second and third question give 3 points. The assignment will be evaluated on the criteria
illustrated in table 1:

Grades
Assignment 2 represents 10% of the total course points, i.e., maximum 10 points and a
minimum of 5 points is required to pass the course.

NB!
- Failure to meet assigned deadline results in a mark not exceeding 50% for the
assignment in question.

- Similarly, if you fail to reach a passing grade on your assignment and get a “revision”,
which is re-submitted and graded during the examination period of the course (June
2021), the mark on your resubmission will not exceed 50% for the assignment in
question.
