What do you think is the foremost reason why scientific inventions were
concentrated in the Western countries particularly in most countries of Europe?
Elaborate or cite proofs and examples.

The reason why scientific inventions were concentrated in the Western countries
particularly in most countries of Europe because one of the development that helped to
lead to the Scientific Revolution was the humanism during the Renaissance and base
on the information that internet give to me, before the renaissance era or rebirth, during
dark age and even before the bubonic plague start, Europe had already contribute a
massive of knowledge and idea in order to science step more forward to higher level.
Also European states all had interactions with developing technology. This expansion
became possible after the advance in naval technology opened up the ocean routes to
Western navigators.

After the dark ages and start of rebirth period many schoolar around the world came
back to Europe and rebuild on when do they stop. Europe had contribute a lot the
reason why do they also make a patent law in order to prevent plagiarism and miss
understanding. The Renaissance had more obviously technological content than the
Reformation. Since the scholars of the Middle Ages had already achieved a very full
recovery of the literary legacy of the ancient world, as a “rebirth” of knowledge the
Renaissance marked rather a point of transition after which the posture of deference to
the ancients began to be replaced by a consciously dynamic, progressive attitude.

In your own opinion, who among the Philippine presidents is the best as far as
the development of Science and Technology is concerned? Why?
For me the best president by far who achieve the great development when it comes to
science and technology is President Marcos, because during on Marcos era base on
what I read in the module that our beloved Sir. Rommel Ignacio give us, President
Marcos give importance on science and create different type of department (like NSDB
or that we all known as DOST) that will assure the importance and development of our
science and technology in Philippines.
