Frame/conditions:
The method applies to discuss about the two phenomena “emigration” and “immigration” in
an informal frame. The students are asked to identify the defining causes of the two
phenomena.

Required materials:
It is recomended to work with a number of 10 students or more, divided into 2 groups. Each
group will be joined by a “guest” (a Heimat project member, who is a participant to the
documentary visits about the emigration situation in Romania).
No additional materials are required.

Aim of this teaching unit:


The purpose of applying the method is the one to identify the causes that determine the
emigration and immigration phenomena.
