response to the evolving needs of the Radiology
community, Wolf has added many new innovative
products to their line. While these new products
all relate to radiology, many are not the first thing
that comes to mind when you hear "Wolf" and the
word "X-ray" only tells part of the tale of who we are.

with a uniquely even light surface in a super-thin
cabinet. Just 2 inches deep, it gives you the look of a
recessed unit without the hassle of cutting holes in

each panel accommodates up to one 14 x 17" x-ray.

Wolf X-Ray manufactures the most comprehensive range of illuminators available. Familiarizing yourself with "The Oefinition of
Terms" and "Summary Tables" presented below will enable you to pick the Wolf Jlluminator best suited to your needs.
Definition of Terms
Bulbs per 14" x 17" Viewing area: All illuminators come with fluorescent bulbs, the number of bulbs per 14" x 17" panel are
listed below. Actual candela per square meter per panel is listed on the individual descriptive pages.
Cluster Switch: Switches include a "master switch" to shut off the entire unit. These are standard for 2 over 2 & up.
Reflectors: All Wolf illuminators are equipped with advanced reflectors which guarantee a diffused evenly lit viewing area.
Auto Switch: Switches on when film is inserted, off when it's removed.
Individual Switch: Individual "on/off" switch per 14" x 17'' section.
Hospital Grade Plug: A spark proof hospital approved 3 prong plug.
Roller Grip: A roller bar grip extending full viewing length.
Magic Grip: Built in tension grip, no moving parts.
Wolf's E-"Z" Bar™ allows you to install Wall Hung units simply, quickly and without opening the unit!. Only critica! dimension is
height. Simply screw the provided bar in the desired spot, and mount the illuminator on it.
Recessed Mounting: Cabinet is installed in the wall. Units ordered for recessed mounting are provided with a kit that easily

Never lose a film agan! Wolf's liberator series ingeniously attaches the film grip to
the plexiglass to form a perfect film holding assembly that never goes out of
alignment. The entire plexiglass panel & grip assembly come off quickly and
effortlessly with a simple pull. Our Magna-Lock assembly holds the panels in place
until you want to get inside. Changing a light bulb or cleaning inside the panel was
never this simple. Whether it's installation, service, or operation the Liberator is at
the top of the class.
The Liberator is available in two styles. The Liberator Plus is a 4 bulb illuminator,
available from a single 14" X 17" viewing area up to 2 tiers of 84" X 17" each. Our
Hi Lo version, available in the same sizes as the standard, features 6 bulbs per
14• x 17" viewing area. Eaeh 14" x 17" area of the Hi Lo can be dimmed to 4
bulbs at the press of a button.
Any model can be wall mounted in minutes with our E-Z bar or beautifully
recessed in a wall with our recessing kit. Specifications and ordering information

Trimline Plus Hi Lo
The TrimlinePius Hi-Lo provides two light intensities

per each 14 x 17" viewing area. You can go from
5,150 lo 7,250 Candela per square meter at lhe push
of a button. lllumination is from six lamps in high
inlensity, four lamps in low intensity. Shown here is a
2 in 1 unit with lhe left hand unit switched lo "Hi" lo
illustrate the difference between Hi and Lo.
The Trimline Plus Hi-Lo features a 3 1/4" deep

cabinet with a baked on white finish, a roller grip film
retainer, film activated auto switches (the illuminator
goes on automatically when film is inserted), and
cluster switches, on 2 over 2 units and up.

The Trimline 111 has all the

standard Trimline family
features: viewing areas from
14 x 17" up to 2 tiers of 84
x 17", film activated auto
switches, cluster switches
(on 2 over 2 units and up)
and a roller grip film retainer
all in a sleek cabinet finished
in white baked on enamel.
Options include a Mobile

Stand, custom installations
(see below) anda trame for
recessed mounting.
As with all the Trimlines, the

Trimline 111 can be combinad
with any other Trimline style
to create a viewing area
uniquely suited to your
viewing needs.

The TrimlinePius offers four

per each 14 x 17" viewing area.
The TrimlinePius is available in 12 sizes (shown above

is a 4 over 4 unit) , or may be custom built to your
specifications. Multi tier units are specially designad
with only 1 1/2" of "dead space" between the top and
bottom viewing panels.
The TrimlinePius comes standard with a baked on white

finish, film activated auto switches, a roller grip film retainer
and cluster switches on 2 over 2 units and up.

Wall Mounting Your llluminator

All Trimline Series llluminators come with Wolf's E-"Z" bar wall
Trimline mounting system. Simply tollow the steps below to quickly

1. The back of your illuminator already has an E-"Z" bar taped to it.
Remove the bar and note the 2 holes that E-"Z" Bar carne out of.
2. Take the E-"Z" bar and using a spirit level, mount il on lhe wall
with the flanges on the bar tacing out as shown.
3. Slip the holes in your illuminator over and down onto the
E-"Z" Bar flanges, and you're done.

The Mammoline
Mammography llluminator
The Mammoline combines superior lighting technology
with ACR mandated masking shutters for optimum film
viewing.
At top intensity the Mammoline produces over 7,600

Candela per square meter of illumination! You can also
adjust the light output down to 280 Candela via a built in
dimmer (the ACR recommends a mínimum of 3,400
Candela per square meter per viewing area).
Wolfs ~ reflector design disperses light evenly to

eliminate "hot spots" found on other viewers. The
ballasts are state of the art energy efficient sol id state
units for fl icker free instant on lighting. In addition, the
Mammoline has a ~ venting design that dissipates
heat build-up. The Mammoline's shutters are completely
light proof and glide easily on horizontal and vertical
tracks. Film grips are gravity roller type for easy film
mounting.
The Mammoline is easily wall mounted by means of

Wolfs unique E-"Z" Bar mounting system. An optional

The Mammoline cabinet is 48" long, 36" high and 5"
deep. The viewing area is two tiers measuring
38 1/2" x 11 " each. The finish is baked on enamel.
