Objectives
Acupuncture – Therapy of using thin needles in certain points to release qi energy trapped in the
body usually placed along the meridian lines of the body.
Moxibustion – Therapy of using certain materials usually moxa that are burned on or near the
body at certain points in the body to invigorate or re-energize the qi of the human body
(University of Minnesota, n.d.).
Cupping – Therapy that involves several cups that are sometimes lit on fire to create suction or
manually pumped to create suction and left on the body for several minutes. Used to be used in
ancient times to relief lung related conditions (Rosenblum, 2020).
