Task Organization:

COCC Headquarters
The COCC Headquarters will be headed by the COCC Cadet Officer In-
Charge (COIC) assisted by the Assistant Cadet Officer In-Charge (ACOIC) and the
Staff Officers. These staff positions will be composed of the S-1 (Personnel), S-2
(Intelligence), S-3 (Operations and Training), S-4 (Logistics) and S-7 (Civil Military
Operations).

COCC Tactical Group

The COCC Tactical Group shall be composed of three cadet officers from the
cadet officers included in the COCC Headquarters. They shall serve as the primary
instructors of the COCs and they shall also be responsible in disciplining and
leadership training of the COCS.

Training Units
The COCC unit shall be composed of UP Baguio sophomore students of AY
2015-2016 who have taken MS 1.

I. SITUATION

A. General

This outlines the training memorandum for the conduct of the training of
the Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) 04.

E. Assumptions

1. There will be minimal conflict with the schedule of the training days,
(e.g. exams, university events and field trips.)
2. Bad weather will not interfere with the training schedule.

II. MISSION

The UP Corps of Cadets will conduct a Cadet Officer Candidate Course which
shall be composed of two phases (Academic Phase and On-the-Job Training for
Batch 04 from 8 February 2016 to 27 February 2016) at the UP Baguio campus to
produce competent cadet officers for the next semester.

III. EXECUTION

A. Commander’s Intent

I intend to conduct a Cadet Officer Candidate Course which shall be composed of

two phases (Academic Phase and On-the-Job Training for Batch 04 from 8 February 2016 to
27 February 2016) at the UP Baguio campus to produce competent cadet officers for the
next semester.

B. Concept of Operation
1. Training Duration

COCC 04 will be composed of two phases:

a. Phase 1 (Academic Phase) will be conducted for 15 days. It
will be conducted every Mondays to Fridays from 0500H to
0700H and Saturdays from 0500H to 1200H.
b. The duration of Phase 2 (OJT Phase) will be from the 3 rd
Training Day up to 4th Training Day of MS 2.
c. The COCC 04 Graduation will be held on 27 February 2016.

2. Training Venue

The training venues shall be the DMST Office, UP Baguio

campus for lectures, and the Oblation Grounds (“V” Grounds) for
physical training. Trainings held outside these places will be
coordinated accordingly.

3. Policies

4. Pool of Instructors

The pool of instructors will be headed by the COCC 04,

ACOIC, but all Cadet Officers, with the supervision of the COCC
Tactical Group, must be able to conduct at least 1 lecture with the
COCs throughout the course. Cadet Officers who will conduct the
lectures will be as prescribed by the Program of Instruction (refer to
Annex B).

IV. SERVICE SUPPORT

1. Administration

1. The S-1 shall be responsible for the attendance and recording of the
graded test results of the COCs.
2. Policies concerning the conduct of all matters pertaining to
administration shall be formulated by the S-1.

2. Logistics

1. Lecture materials and training policies shall be prepared by the

officers concerned to be coordinated with the S-4.
