RADIO CLAW GUIDELINES August 24, 2020

OVERVIEW

WHAT CLAW Hosts an episode of “Kasing-Kasing sa Balaod” aired at AM frequency


DYRF 1215
WHEN Every 3rd Saturday of the Month for One hour (12NN to 1PM)
HOW Pre-covid19: live stream in the radio booth of DYRF station located within the
USC-Main campus premises.

Post-covid19: pre-recorded episode (via Google Meet or other online meeting


platform) AND recording is sent to the station (via email to
dyrf1215@yahoo.com.ph).

SPECIFICS

A. TOPICS to be discussed during the episode are pre-decided and assigned. Given in
advance before the scheduled episode. (c/o Atty. Glenn Capanas).

B. Topics are SPECIAL LAWS that are geared or focused on celebrating a certain advocacy
or person among others.

(sample: Topics for the month of August 2020)

C. There is no limit as to the number of PARTICIPANTS (CLAWEEs) during the episode. But
a minimum of 3 persons is ideal.

D. The participants during the episode, will enter into a DIALOGUE and will discuss the
assigned topics. RESEARCH AND TALKING POINTS will revolve around the:

 Background or the History of the Law


 The purpose of its enactment
 “Current” activities or affairs conducted in relation to the Law
 Related Laws, Jurisprudence, Rules or Regulations enacted in relation to the Law

E. Participants may invite “GUEST SPEAKERS”. Guests are usually engaged in the
celebration of the topics or are experts and have personal knowledge of the topics.
Permission must be obtained from Atty. Glenn Capanas.

F. ADDITIONAL TOPICS (not related with those assigned) may be included in the agenda of
the episode. It may be about the current affairs or new legislation but must be with
prior approval of Atty. Glenn Capanas.

G. Every year, a RADIO COMMITTEE is formed (which is usually comprised by the CLAWEE
participants) and a Head is appointed by the organization’s President to manage the
Radio Show affairs.
