TOP: Dr. Ashanti Johnson TOP: Jazlyn Carvajal

She is one of the first African American female
chemical oceanographers and the first African
American to earn a PhD in oceanography from
Texas A&M University. (2)
BOTTOM: Dr. Indira Hinduja
An Indian gynecologist, obstetrician and
infertility specialist. She pioneered the GIFT
technique which resulted in the birth of India's
first GIFT baby. (3)
She is co-founder of The Latinas In Stem
Foundation with her fellow MIT alumnae. She
received her BS in Civil Engineering from MIT. (4)
BOTTOM: Dr. Reinabelle Reyes
A Filipina astrophysicist and data scientist who
“proved Einstein's Theory of Relativity "right”
during her PhD studies. She earned her PhD in
Astrophysics from Princeton University. (5)
