- Understand and perform a “Te” accidental in a piece of music (INAS5)

- Understand and correctly pronounce diphthongs when singing a piece of

Breathing exercise (In for 4 out for 8,12,16- in for 2 out 8,12,16)

Sing “How now, brown Cow” on a single pitch from G-C with a focus on diphthongs

Sing (Deh-ee A-weh-ee) on 1-2-3 from DM-GM

Instruct meaning of Diphthong (A single syllable with two vowel sounds) through the

words “Day” and “Away” to connect to repertoire text (Connect it to monophthongs

“lonely”)
