In order to set the day of the week from CoLOS to a letter printout to the 2200 it is required to add the

below
express engine strings.

Copy and paste the below strings into the CoLOS Professional Express Engine tab under the Advanced
Properties for the Label.

!V5000 1 "%date()"
!V5000 2 "['A','B','C','D','E','F','G']"
!V5000 3 "%date.weekday(%1V,0,%2V)"

If addition information is needed about the Expression Engine Help link in CoLOS Pro can be selected.

Below is only an example!


Next, Select a text field and add it to the label.
Go to Change Data Source and select External Variable
Then select Edit Variable Definitions.
Highlight the “Auto” tab and name the Variable to Number “3”.
This will populate the new Variable Number filed.
This variable number refers to the “!V5000 3” line copied to the Express Engine to be printed.
Then type in a Variable Name (day).
Select “OK”.

Next,
Select Express Engine under Edit Data Source to edit properties.
There is a drop down box for Variable Id.
Drop and select the Variable Name which you did in the previous step (day).
The Preview Text can also edited by highlighting and renaming to “X” for example.
Select “OK”.

The Text Field should display the Preview Text.


In this case it will be “CAPMONTH” yours should be X

Now Save the label format and test
