This lesson is quite interactive as the teacher gives the students the time to explain their answers

The lesson is also engaging and lets the students know what is expected of them before engaging

in any class activity.

In video one, the teacher encourages the students to expect in that year in terms of the tools they

will be using and how the tools are of great importance in this lesson. The students are

interacting with the teacher and being encouraged how to explore sophisticated mathematical

ideas. The students seem to be understanding the lesson as their engagement with the teacher

highlights a high degree of lesson understanding. The teacher is engaging the students through

presentations and asking questions.

In video two, the teacher is challenging her students to use different methods of solving

problems. The students are interacting with the teacher on a higher level, and their understanding

can be identified by how they articulate their different ways of solving the mathematical problem

presented to them. The teacher is engaging the students through presentations and asking them

questions. She is also selecting them to show how they approached the problems.

In video three , the teacher is helping the students understand what they are supposed to

do through the reviewing of their work. On the other hand, the students are reviewing their works

to identify where they went wrong in a approaching the problems presented unto them. Their

understanding is excellent as they can be seen reviewing their work without balance and;

pointing out where they went wrong. The teacher is interacting with the students through

reviewing their works as a class and asking them questions and allowing them to answer.
