Well thought out & flows smoothly, Equipment & space used effectively, not too much teacher talk, lesson closure completed smoothly ‘The lesson flowed very smoothly and each topic blended into the next one. | did most of the talking during the lesson but did allow opportunities for students to talk and make comments. All ‘of my technology equipment worked well except for a minor audio issue that was quickly fixed. | didn’t have a volleyball but was able to use a substitute. ‘Comment on Positive Aspects: | elt very prepared for this lesson and felt | delivered my content appropriately. My introduction outlined everything that was going to be covered for the day and according to student feedback itwas. ‘Comment on Areas for Improvement: {can vary instructional methods and allow more opportunities for the students to interact either with me or other students. | also should have gone over the questions on the Kahoot that the majority of the class got incorrect. Brief anecdotal review of the lesson: ‘The lesson opened with an introduction to the class itinerary and began warmups. | then Identified the learning domain objectives and showed the small video on basic volleyball rules. | ‘then identified the health benefits of volleyball. The next major portion of the lesson was a demonstration and students’ practice of the two skills set and bump. The application task was an interactive Kahoot quiz and then ended with lesson closure & review. = 2s 2/24/21, Supervisor’ Signature Date eb-Fantl 3/5/2021 Candidate's Sehatare Date “Teacher Canddate ac Brown “School Walnut Street Middle School ate: 2724721 “ie of Uni: VaTeyEaT Tengih af Cas Tamm ‘Grade Level al Feus of Unit The focus af suit an a aipecs HurroundingvoTeVBA, The loge Iterative games that involve volley i ta cues and BIW CRETE son focus: This esson wl primarly focus on the base ules and basic types ofits vlleybal known asthe bump and Set Students wil only be abe tous the allmplement a nstucted Students are expected to Rave an accessible workout area fee of any Obstacles ox breakable ject as possible Students are also encouraged to go outside if weather permits. the studen{] ae ouside or 2 pubic ara they ae expected to manain the smmended CDC guidlines pertaining the COVID-18 pansems, such a rope social stancing and atlas 1 face covering, Students wil beable to have their ameras turned of they havea prior circumstance handle with Mr. Muscamera (cooperating teacher). tenet access, 200M compatible deve, vlleyeal, or implement epicating voleybal (ational PE Standards and Learning Outcomes Addresed Standard 1 The physically iterate inlvdual demonstrates competency in avaretyof matrskls and movement patterns Standard 2: The physical iterte individual applies knowledge of concepts, prince, stratepes and tactics related to movement and performance Standard The physically iterate inldual recognizes the vale of physical actvty for heath, enjoyment, challenge, sel-exression anor socal interaction, ational Health Standards and Performance Indeators Addressed: A U HPE Student Learning Standards and Cumlatve Progress Indicators Addressed: 5.40.2 Use body management sls and demonstrate control when moving n relation to others, objects ana boundaries in persona and general space 4.4.4 Correct movement errorsin response to feedback and expain how the change improves performance. 58.4 Detect, aaiye, an corteterors and apy to refine movement sil 'S5A.1 Bain and perform movement sis that combine mechanical correct movernent in smooth flowing sequences in isolated settings (Le, sl practice) and plied setings ges, sports dance, and recreational activites) ‘Students wil be able 10 correctly perform set and bump it with a voeyEa Tnformal Teacher Observation ‘udents wie able to eny the socal and phyial eal Denes of PE Taformal Teacher Observation volyba.
