Consider the following:


How do you encourage students to attend your weekly LiveLessons?
1. How do I get started?
a) Set up an account (don’t worry, it’s free!)
b) Answer a few questions
c) Give your workspace a title!
2. Getting Started
a) Choose what you want to record
i. Screen and Camera
ii. Screen Only
iii. Camera Only
b) Full Desktop or Current Tab
c) Choose microphone and camera
d) Start recording!
3. Select a Screen
a) Click what you would like to display in your video
4. Video Recording Controls
a) Red ‘X’ – cancel recording
b) Gray ‘ll” – pausing recording
c) Green ‘ ’ – finish recording
5. Trimming Tool
a) Click ‘Trim Video’
b) Click ‘Start trimming”
c) Drag red pins to determine times you would like to trim
d) Click ‘Remove’
e) Click ‘Publish changes’
f) If you made a mistake you can click ‘Revert to original’
6. Call to Action Tool
a) Click ‘Call to action’
b) Insert Button Text
c) Insert Link

d) Customize Button
e) Click ‘Save call to action’
7. Share Your Video
a) Copy Link
a. Great for including in webmails or message boards
b) Download video
a. If you want to save the video to your laptop
c) Embed code
a. This code will allow you to add your video to your website for easy student
access.
8. Adding Video to Website
a) Click ‘Share’
b) Click ‘Embed’
c) Copy Embed code
d) Go to website builder and add Embed code section
e) Paste custom HTML (what you copied)
9. Tips for Video Creation
a) Segmenting
b) Signaling
c) Weeding
d) Matching Modality
