Tongson National High School Suay Extension In- Service

Training Day 4 , March 18 ,2021

Grade 9 teachers facilitated the mode of learning for today’s

session. Mode of learning includes the singing of a nationalistic song ,
a prayer , recapitulation of yesterday’s topic ,checking of attendance,
sharing of significant learnings from a representative per grade level
and an energizer.

The first session in the morning was facilitated by Mr Che J.

Villafuerte , a Teacher III and Araling Panlipunan Teacher. His
discussed about the topic: DEPED ORDER 14 s. 2021 or DepEd
Required Health Standards.

Session 2 in the morning is all about Managing Stress in

Teaching Profession Amidst Covid -19 that was presented by Mr. Jay R
Mando, Teacher I and a Mathematics teacher. Active participation
among teacher participants transpired as everyone gave their personal
experiences and insights on how to deal with stress at work and
maintain mental health or a sound mind as a teacher. The morning
session ended at 11:45 am.

Afternoon session resumed at exactly 1:00 and started with an

energizer facilitated by grade 9 teachers followed by the talk of Mrs
Mayla T. Jovia , Teacher II and a Science teacher. Her topic is all
about “ The Role of Teachers in Student’s Lives “. Teachers gain more
insights and ideas from sharing of experiences and lively discussions
among participants.

Today’s session ended with a teaching demonstration from Mrs.

Aurora G. Jugos, Teacher III and a Technology and Livelihood
Education teacher. The fourth day of school-based In-Service Training
end at 4:40 in the afternoon after some important announcement from
our school head Mrs. Crestin G. Cornelio.
