SCRIPT WRITING
SCENARIO: TEENAGE PRECNANCY

Angel is a grade 11 student and she has a boyfriend. Angel and her boyfriend loves to having a
bonding by they rode around on his motorcycle and his four-wheeler a lot, or just went to the
movie. Angel was very outgoing and she loves to go clubbing drinking alcohol beverages and all
with his boyfriend and her squad.

Angel: When will you going to introduce me in to your parents? We are in relationships for
almost 6 months.
Boyfriend: I am finding the right time because my mom is super busy with her work.
Angel: Okay I understand
Until they got drunk and they don't know what they are doing because of drunkenness. When
morning came and they find out that...
Boyfriend: Oh my, what happened last night?
Angel: Whey we don't have clothes? Don't tell me we had sex last night? Oh, my it can't be
Boyfriend: I don't know also what happened last night but can you feel the soreness between
your thighs?
Angel: Oh my gosh, I can't stand. It sore down there
Boyfriend: Don't worry no matter what happen I am always here for you.
Angel: Thank You
After a month Angel was feeling strange in her situation because every morning she was
vomiting, she loves to sleep; her sense of smell was not like that before. And it noticed by her
mother and she talked to her.
Mom: Are you okay?
Angel: No mom, maybe I am going to have a fever
Dad: Alright then, don't go to school for a while get rest for you to feel better okay?
Angel: Okay Dad thank you
And she rest for a while and she remembered that her menstruation was delayed for almost 3
weeks. But she don't mind she is delay or what because its normal for her. And the next day is
the last day of their school days because its Christmas Break
Angel: Are we going to celebrate the Christmas together?
Boyfriend: I'll try to celebrate with you but I can't promise sorry.
Angel: But I am hoping
Boyfriend: Alright, we'll going to celebrate Christmas together
One Monday night over the Christmas break, he got me some chicken for dinner, and it made me
throw up. I told him that I was late, so we thought we should take a test. Finally, four positive
results later, I realized that I was pregnant, and I just cried. And he cried too that night, I looked
him in the eyes and made him promise me that, no matter what, he'd stay with me and we'd get
through it together.
Angel: What should I do? I am too young for this? My parents will be disappointed at me.
Boyfriend: I am scared also but we need to face it.
Angel: Okay I am going to tell my mom but I feel nervous.
She decided to tell her mom what situation she's facing right now. She was on her way to the
meet up place.
Angel: Sorry mom, I'm late
Mom: What are you going to tell me? Is that important that you don't want to discuss it in the
phone conversation?
Angel: Yes mom, I am hoping that you are not going to mad at me
Mom: What is that?
Angel: I am pregnant mom. I'm sorry it's not my intention to get pregnant for this young age.
Mom: Who was the father of your child?
Angel: Koby, my boyfriend mom
Then, after I talk to her, she made me take another test cried a little, and asked to be alone. After
that, though she was so supportive, and I'm lucky for that.
Angel: Thank you mom for understanding my situation.
Mom: But I have a condition, I want you to keep it secret between you and me that you are
pregnant because I don't want to ruin this Christmas vacation with your Dad. I know that he'll
going to be mad at you.
Angel: Okay mom, I promise
Holiday was over, and her mom told her that it’s time to them to tell the truth.
Angel: Dad I have something to tell you. I hope you are not going to be mad at me.
Dad: Okay what is that?
Angel: Dad don't be shock. Keep calm and relax okay?
Her Dad though, was a different story. When he first finds out, he was in shock. We had a lot of
hard conversation and played out a lot of scenarios. He kept telling me that I was giving up my
Senior High School experience, that I would have to go to community college, and I'd never
finish, so I should wait to have kids later in life when I could support them
Angel: Dad it's okay I don't want to loss this baby I can't afford to do that.
Dad: Okay then, I don't have a choice.
Angel: Thank you Dad, you are the best thank you for accepting my situation and also for your
future grandchild.
She doesn't know what was going on with her, but at the point. She felt like she was in love and
she's going to have my happy family It was naive, obviously and she wasn't thinking clearly
about how hard it was going to be. But she couldn't bring herself to ever think about having an
abortion.
She told to her 2 best friends that she is pregnant. One of them told her boyfriend who endend up
telling his sister, and just like that, it spread everywhere. When she got back to school, the
teacher looked down on her. It's small town, so when one person found out, everyone did.
Angel (talking to her best friends): What happened to Kristine? Why she avoiding me?
Best friend 1: Maybe she doesn't want to be friends with you anymore because of your
pregnancy.
Angel: Is that so? Now I know that they are not my real friends that will stay for me for the rest
of my life.
Best friend 2: It’s okay we are here for you no matter what.
Angel: Thank you guys
And she thought that her pregnancy will going to be easy but it's not. Her classmates started to
spread gossips that she was flirt and Koby is not the real father of her baby and many more. But
she ignores all of those cause she knows the truth together with her family, friends and her
boyfriend.
Best friend 1: It's not good anymore. There were so many gossips here.
Angel: It's ok I understand them because they didn't know the truth.
Best friend 2: But our other fake friend was the one spreading the wrong gossips about you.
Best friend 1: People discriminating you because of you're pregnant.
Angel: Its ok it's God giving blessing. Don't mind them they will stop if they tired spreading
some gossips. I am not affected.
Until one day, her three best friends went to her and asked for forgiveness.
Best friend 3: I'm sorry for what we have done
Best friend 4: It's not our intention to bully and spread some gossips about you.
Best friend 5: I know you can't forgive us for what we've done. But still we are hoping for your
forgiveness.
Angel: It's okay I'm not mad at all of you.
Best friend 3,4,5: Thank you Angel!
Angel: Welcome just don't do it again with anyone with the same situation as I.
Best friend 1: I am hoping that you can change yourselves.
Best friend 2: I am hoping too.
Angel: You can do it guys.
