Meditation log

Week 14
4/25 - Mediated 20 minutes
4/26 - Meditated 20 minutes
4/28 - Meditated 20 minutes Watched and old class
I went on to listen to the 61 points of mediation practices and I really like that mediation, but I
find myself losing focus on what i am listening too, so instead of doing the exercise i am just
breathing and then realize i don't know what point i should be breathing into, so i need to work
on now losing focus on the things I am listening too.But the mediations really helped me this
week, I am able to start to get back on my feet after a rough start to the year for me.

Week 13
4/21 - Mediated 20 minutes
4/23 - Mediated 10 minutes with insight timer stoic thoughts and meditation
4/24 - Meditated 30 minutes
This week I did some breathing through one nostril at a time and I have really enjoyed that
through this class, I am not sure why but that is the most effective for me, I always feel a little
better after that exercise and it makes me feel a little more calm.

Week 12
4/11 - Mediated 20 minutes
4/12 - Mediated 20 minutes
4/13 - Meditated 18 minutes Insight timer Quietness with Russell Brand
This week i felt a little better, although I still think I do not do so great on my breathing, the
insight timer app helps me so I don’t have to think about doing it wrong so much, it also had
Russel Brand, which i thought was great because i like him.

Week 10
3/29 - Meditated 20 minutes
3/31 - Meditated 20 minutes
4/2 - Meditated 20 minutes
I started to get back into the medations this week after having a rough month, but I felt pretty
good getting back into the rhythm of it. I didn't feel much except how much tension I was feeling
and meditating this week helped me release the tension I was holding in my body.

Week 2
1/24 - Mediated 20 minutes
1/25 - Meditated for 20 minutes, used insight timer (be guided by the stillness)
1/27 - Meditated 20 minutes
Meditation has been incredibly helpful for me this week. I was under a lot of stress. Work was
getting busy and my brother had to go to the hospital because there was something in his brain
that was not supposed to be there. Because I had a lot going on this week I did not feel like I
had a lot of time to meditate but I woke up early in the mornings to meditate and it really helped
a lot. I think the mediation helped me not be so anxious about what is going on with my brother,
and that helped me be able to make it through the week. I am still struggling to get completely
comfortable and I find myself so fidgeting around a lot so I hope that I can get better. I realized
after my mediation on monday that I was really getting behind on my work, and that has made
me realize I need to work more on school work so I am not so behind. I am hoping that by next
week I will be more caught up and more on schedule.
