Looking back the amazing trip I went in 2017 was definitely one of the most memorable
experiences of my life. I remember being so caught up in studying, not being able to open myself
to new experiences as well as not having the confidence to talk to new people. I was in my own
little shell for a while... but I knew that the only way to escape from it was to get out of my
comfort zone I tried new things. And the one influence much is that when TBL came into my
life.

“If you want to do something, don't go half way, go for 200%” - that's what I did. I traveled with
40 strangers around New Zealand and Queens Lands and helped each others. To be honest, it
was the best decision that I have ever made! I made great friends on the trip; I found my purpose
in life. Helping each others is such kind of doing something together with family.

I was able to reflect on my current life choices while I was on the trip, thinking about what I had
achieved, what I wanted to achieve and how I would achieve those goals.

There is a great feeling of pride and achievement in successfully completing a service project
that helps so many people. The Big Lift has helped me to be a better person.
It gives me great joy to come back as a Crew member because it offers me the opportunity to
witness new friendships. I love The Big Lift! Thank you for all that you've done for me! Peace.
